Hi John and Doves,
With the onset of Hanukkah and remembering the Bible Code tables that continually highlight Purim - it all got me thinking.
Just like Purim - the true story of Hanukkah is told with Almighty God seemingly silent. Yet both encounters provide evidence of Almighty God's intervention when the Jewish people showed faith and courage. In the story of Hanukkah - the Maccabees showed incredible faith when they took on the might of the Greek armies. A small band of Jewish men defeated the might of the Greek armies !!! It was genuinely miraculous. Almighty God then showed them how their faith and belief had resonated with Him. The oil lasted for 8 days. Against all odds.
In the story of Purim - Almighty God's Name is not mentioned once. Yet, Mordechai and Esther showed faith and belief in the God of Israel. The two stories are connected in such heavenly manner. Throughout the Bible - Almighty God begs and pleads with His chosen people to trust in Him. No matter how huge the enemy armies are, God tells the Jewish people NOT to be afraid. HE has their backs. All God requires is their faith and obedience. The current tussle over Jerusalem will prove to be the tipping point. Of this, I have ZERO doubt.
Jerusalem has God's ownership actually written into the landscape. Almighty God has had enough. He has given enough examples and time for His message to get through. THIS TIME is the LAST TIME. Evil has been put on notice. The devil's time is short.
Hanukkah may be the time of the rapture or it may be the beginning of the end. Nobody knows but the Father. We may have to crawl our way through to 2022. However - the fact that we are witnessing the end times is undeniable. We need to TRUST in the LORD for our every need. To pray with all our hearts for what we need. God WILL provide. And, He will provide because we have shown faith and trust. He has asked us not to fret or worry. He has asked us to TRUST Him. We are exceptionally precious to Him.
We must allow ourselves to have the courage and faith of our convictions. Worry not where your next meal will come from. It WILL come. Have no doubt. Our faith and trust are our guarantee. We need to FULLY embrace this profound truth. By doing so - we will experience the miracles of Hanukkah and Purim. Remember Jesus saying in Matthew 17:20 that if we only had the faith of a mustard seed (tiny tiny tiny) we could move mountains? Total FAITH and TRUST is key. In the 2nd link is the telling of the mustard seed parable. Please note - and this is an important detail as this parable is told just prior to our LORD Jesus' Transfiguration aka Rapture. Ponder on that and take enormous strength and comfort from it. I know I did.
