Hello John and Doves,
Just
looking at some interesting dates coming up in
December/January. I'm looking at Jewish dates (using
the chabad calendar), Dana Coverstone's one date,
astrological dates, U.S.election dates - throwing them all
out there:
December:
December
10: 24 Kislev. The eve of Chanukah
(Hanukkah) - 24th day of the 9th month. In the book
of Haggai, four times the Lord refers to the time period
of the 'twenty-fourth day of the ninth month'.
In Haggai 2:20: "For the second time that day,
the twenty-fourth day of the month, the word of the Lord
came to Haggai..."I am about to shake the heavens and the
earth: I will overturn royal thrones and destroy the
power of the kingdoms of the nations. I will overturn
chariots and their riders; horses and their riders will
fall, each by the sword of his brother."
Years ago I came across a book by Grant
Jeffrey. He made a compelling comparison between
Haggai's prophecy and the prophecy of Ezekiel concerning
the Gog War. Grant believes that the Lord could be
giving us the day of the Gog War.
December
11: 25 Kislev. Chanukah/Hanukkah
starts the eve of December 10 The Feast of
Dedication. Festival of Lights. An eight day
celebration.
"The
Jews of Jesus' day were well aware of the events that had
led to the Feast of Dedication when they approached Him in
the holy Temple on Hanukkah. It was in the context
of that recent history that they said to Jesus, "If you
are the Christ, tell us plainly." (John 10:24)
If Jesus really was the Messiah, they reasoned, He had the
power to preserve the Jewish people form the tyranny of
the Romans, just as God had preserved them from evil
Antiochus. Jesus answered them with a rebuke, "I
told you, and you do not believe." (v.25)
Jesus
boldly asserted His Messiahship. He claimed divine
power to preserve and sustain His people, but not in the
manner they had hoped for and expected. "My sheep
hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow
Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall
never perish; neither shall
anyone snatch (Greek: harpasei) them out of My hand"

It is interesting that
'snatch' (pluck, will seize) harpasei and John's use of
the Greek word harpzo - "snatch away, to seize, catch up"
are related: see 2 Corinthians 12:4 AND 1
Thessalonians 4:17. Describing the Rapture.
December
14: 28 Kislev - fourth day of
Chanukah. The presidential electors meet as a group
in their states to cast their electoral votes for
president and vice president. Fay in her letter to
Doves, tells us that this day "will see a total solar
eclipse which marks the half-way mark between the Great
American Solar Eclipse of August 2017 and the next
American Solar Eclipse of April 8, 2024." (link

16: 1 Tevet New moon. Elliot
Hong in his last letter to Doves, tells us that on this
6th day of Chanukah, Esther was chosen as the Queen.

17: 2 Tevet Pastor Dana
Coverstone's date on the calendar, above the coffin in the
rotunda. And the sign on the coffin: "Inside
was the body of the Democrat candidate for the office of
president."

18: 3 Tevet, the last day of Chanukah -
the eighth day. (The dates of Chanukah can vary a bit on
the various calendars.)

21: 6 Tevet Conjunction of Jupiter
and Saturn, aligning as a "double planet" - these planets
are visible every night now and we can watch as they move
into conjunction. They will come within 0.1 degrees
of one another (that's 1/5 of a full moon diameter) - the
closest since 1623. They won't be this close again
for another 500 years, on March 15, 2080. This
conjunction will create the brightest star in the
heavens...since the star of Bethlehem!

21: Winter solstice. "It is the
winter solstice in the Northern Hemisphere, where it is
the darkest day of the year. In the Southern
Hemisphere, it is the summer solstice and the longest day
of the year."

Lots going on in the
Middle East - Fay is keeping our attention on the Middle
East while the election fiasco is playing out - warning
us to watch what is going on with Israel, Turkey, etc,
along with the recent talk of the U.S. taking out Iran's
nuclear facilities.

officials told the outlet that the Israeli government
instructed military commanders to prepare for a

receive advance notice from the U.S. regarding any
military action, but with the concerns that such
notification might come too close to the
