I had asked a group men if they thought that persecution could come to America.

I was strongly rebuked, and told that we would be removed before America would be judged.

The proof is supposedly:

I Thessalonians 5:9a For God hath not appointed us to wrath

But what about the persecuted Christians of the first few centuries?

What about the Christians burned alive at Smithfield?

What about Christians in the Middle East, North Korea, or China?

Are they appointed unto wrath?
