"Bible scripture encouragement"

Greetings my friends in Jesus Christ.  I want to share with you some really cool and encouraging bible verses from books thru out both the Old and New Testament . And it is amazing how scripture verses written thousands of years apart just seem to flow together to bring you encouraging hope for our everyday lives

Genesis1:1  " in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth " , remember this when you see the sun come up every orning to start your day

Genesis 50:20 " You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish His good purposes"
when things start to go wrong with your day, thinking about this verse will brighten you up

Exodus 20 :  The Ten Commandments will help you stay focused on good moral behavior. Leviticus 19:18 will guide you to love your neighbor as yourself. The Book of Numbers will help you to serve God without complaining. And Deuteronomy 33:27 will remind you that " the eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are His everlasting arms "

The Book of Joshua begins with " I will never leave you nor forsake you, Be strong and courageous. Judges warns against doing what seems right in our own eyes without regard for God. And the little book of Ruth reminds us , even in rough times that God brings love and laughter into each new day.

Psalm 55:20 " Cast your cares on the Lord, and He will sustain you, He will never let the righteous be shaken " .Be full of joy with Psalm 100 - "Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness and come before Him with joyful songs "

You want to grow in integrity, cheerfulness and dependability ? Read the Book of Proverbs. Interested in living a strong life - read Isaiah.  Do you have your eyes on the future then read Ezekiel, and cruise thru Daniel to be reminded that the Lord God Almighty rules over all human affairs - and your life too. Hosea tells us to remain faithful to God, Jonah directs you to go where-ever God sends you and Habakkuk shows us to trust God when the fig tree doesn't bud and there are no grapes on the vine

In the NT Book of Matthew Jesus said for us to " Seek first God's Kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be given to you " . In Mark's gospel " Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me " . Luke encourages us to " consider the birds, they do not sow or reap they have no storehouse or barn and yet God feeds them. How much more valuable are you than ".  John's gospel brings hope knowing " that your hearts do not have to be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in me.

Roman's 12:11 tells us to " never be lacking in zeal but keep your spiritual fervor - serving the Lord ' . Philippians 4:5-6 reminds us that " The Lord is near, do not be anxious about anything, but in everything , with prayer and petition, with thanksgiving present your requests to God. " Go to Hebrews " to approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace in our time of need

And lastly - the Book of Revelation gives the final promise of the Bible " He who testifies to these things says , Yes I am coming soon. Amen, Come Lord Jesus !

Have a blessed day in the Lord,  Gary
