John and Doves,Thanksgiving used to be called "Thanksgiving".But because of the prevailing secularization , it came to be called "Turkey Day".And now--because of the aggressive godlessness-- they skip the sentiment entirely and only look forward to "Black Friday".Oh how thou art fallen.
We all come from families of varying degrees of worldliness.To many, Thanksgiving is a day of gluttony, drinking, and surfeiting [ excess ] on football games and strained conversations.Luke 21:34

If family gatherings are an unpleasant event, why not read Psalm One and just say"No" ? Peace of heart and mind is worth it.
