In 1998, there was a movie called " Deep Impact"
that involved trying to destroy a large asteroid that was heading toward earth.
The name of the mission was called "Messiah",
whereby a nuke-loaded spacecraft set out to destroy the incoming comet.

As I watched the movie, I detected immediately that the term "Messiah" triggered a possible other meaning in the future.

Was this movie a veiled
preview of things to come?
Will the objective of the final war of Armageddon be to thwart the return of Jesus Christ to earth to reign for 1,000 years?
I believe that IS the future objective of all the armies in the Valley of Megiddo.

As for present-day science, yes, we already have spacecraft outfitted with nukes to destroy incoming NEO's---Near Earth Objects---.
These nuke-carrying spacecraft are called "HAMMERS", meaning
"Hiperveloscity Asteroid Mitigation Mission for Emergency Response".

In Revelation 19:19-21, we see Almighty God conquering His enemies:
