You asked about the Jews rebuilding the temple in Jerusalem and about the tabernacle......about the sequence and order of the reconstruction.

Let me give you my views on that topic line for whatever that may be worth. From my reading of scripture “the rebuild scenario” does appear to be clearly presented. My views on that scenario may be completely valid or they may later prove to be without merit.....either way, it will be based on the scriptures as I have discerned them and not on any secular beliefs of my own.

Before I begin on the temple, I will need to fill in “the back story” with some applicable scripture verses so that you will be able to see where I am coming from when I express my temple beliefs.

First, I believe that the whole tribulation period will start around the time when Israel is attacked as per Ezekiel 38. It appears from Zechariah 14 that Israel will be over-run in that Ezekiel 38 war and the majority of Israelis will be killed. Only a remnant will survive. Zechariah 14 says that Jerusalem will be taken, the houses rifled, the women ravished and half of the city will go into captivity but the remnant of people shall not be cut off from the city.

When all seems lost in this Ezekiel 38 war....... as per Zechariah 14... the Lord will go forth and intervene for His people.

Deuteronomy 32 I believe addresses this as well when it says......”For the Lord will judge His people and (then) have compassion on His servants....When He sees that their power is gone”.

Notice that it says He will judge His people, the Jews, but seemingly only have compassion on “His servants”which I believe are the remnant spoken of in Zechariah 14 that survive the onslaught upon Israel.

As I recall there are a couple of places in scripture that state that God does not intervene on Israel's behalf during this war. He does not intervene “for the people” but He intervenes to preserve His good name and the covenant He has agreed to with Abraham.

There are scripture verses that indicate that the Church is not removed / raptured until the Gentiles have witnessed what God does to Israel's enemies at the Ezekiel 38 war. God's extreme force and destruction against the nations that come against Israel will be unprecedented. It says in Ezekiel 38 that...... God's fury will show in His face......meaning that He will be front and center standing personally on the world stage or more specifically on Israeli soil. We know from scripture that God is a form of pure light energy and no human can look at God without being destroyed. Only when we get our immortal bodies will we be able to look upon God.

Zechariah 14 describes what happens to all the people who fought against Jerusalem in this war when these people look upon the God of Israel or better put when He looks upon them. Zechariah says.......Their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet.......Their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets.....And their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths.....

After this demonstration of supreme power there should be no doubt worldwide as to who intervened for Israel.... and..... for all the fence sitting Gentiles who haven't as of yet put their faith in Jesus.....this should be a watershed moment for millions to turn to Him for their salvation.

I believe that soon after this event / time frame Jesus takes / raptures His church (the Holy Spirit filled Christians) to a place of safety.

Most people realize that there will be “tribulation safety” that is afforded to the spirit filled Christians by the rapture......... but they know nothing or don't realize what God does for the remnant of Jews “His servants” that have survived the Ezekiel 38 war.

Again in Zechariah 14, Zechariah says that while God is there in Israel “kicking butt” (my words) He does something else which is astounding. Look at verses 4 and 5, it says....

4 And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives,

Which faces Jerusalem on the east.

And the Mount of Olives will be split in two,

From east to west,

Making a very large valley;

Half of the mountain will move to the north

And half of it to the south.

 

5 Then you shall flee through my mountain valley,

For the mountain shall reach to Azal.

Yes you shall flee

As you fled from the earthquake

In the days of Uzziah king of Judah.

 

Wow!!!! a safe place needed and created for the remnant of His Jewish servants. God just steps His foot on the Mount of Olives and creates a huge new valley, a safe protected refuge for His Jewish remnant servants.

Are these two places of safety or refuges spoken of elsewhere in scripture? One being the Christian refuge, and one being a Jewish refuge? Yes

In Revelation 12 we see in verse 5 a male child (the body of Christ) being “caught up” (raptured) to God and His throne.

And then we see in verse 6 “the woman” (the Jewish remnant) fleeing into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, (a brand new valley) that “they” ( angels?) should feed her there 1260 days or 3.5 years.

So, we have a huge new valley which as per Zechariah 14 includes half of the city of Jerusalem. It appears from the word that the remnant of God's Jewish servants that have survived the onslaught on their country by the Ezekiel 38 war are fed and protected in this valley for 1260 days or 3.5 years or for the first half of the 7 year tribulation period.

And gee... this just happens to be the same time frame as the ministry of the two end time witnesses. A coincidence perhaps?

No, it appears that the two divinely protected witnesses will be preaching the gospel worldwide during the same time frame the Jewish remnant are being fed and protected in the new valley which extends from half of the city of Jerusalem west to Azal. I am assuming this valley to be extensive in it's size.

As I remember it, the Jewish boy Nathan (quoted often on 5Doves) had the vision of the coming Ezekiel war, he also described God creating a safe refuge through the Mount of Olives. I believe he said that.....some / many fleeing the war were turned away and only the true Jewish servants of God were allowed to enter........ seemingly agreeing with what Zechariah and Deuteronomy have told us.

So Gino, the above is the back story so that you could get a picture of the reality which will at some point in the future exist. Now with all of this in mind I will try to answer your temple question.

The word says that this Jewish remnant will be in control of half of Jerusalem and the whole of a new large protected valley. It appears from Revelation 12:6 that the “they” are angels tasked to feed and protect this group of people for 1260 days. I don't believe that during this 3.5 year period that this group of Jews are going to be restricted or inhibited by any world body.....the United Nations, etc. from doing whatever they choose to do on this land that they now control under angelic protection.

So... not having to worry about food or protection what will these Jews do for 3.5 years? Yes, that's right, they will construct a new temple unobstructed by any outside influence. They can just thumb their nose at any follower of Mohammad or anyone else that demands they stop construction. So I believe that the temple will be rebuilt totally during this 3.5 year period.....under angelic protection.

Also Isaiah 18 gives us a heads up (I believe) as to the Arc of the Covenant being returned to Mount Zion / The Mount of Olives right after the rapture of the Church and right after the establishment of the protected valley and half of Jerusalem.

Over the years I have written many articles to 5Doves concerning Isaiah 18 and it's significance to the rapture and the return of the Arc of the Covenant.

The condensed version and details of Isaiah 18 are this..... Ethiopia and Egypt get involved in a controversy which they are now embedded in (a water war). Also, a “banner” (Jesus Himself) is displayed in the sky above, the resurrection of the dead and alive in Christ is described, a timing is given, the aftermath of the rapture is described and....... “a present” will be brought to the Lord of Hosts to Mount Zion from the Ethiopians.

It is well documented and believed by many that the Arc of the Covenant now resides in a church in Ethiopia. And at what better time for the Ethiopians to return it then just after God the Father's all powerful demonstration in Jerusalem post Ezekiel 38.

With half of Jerusalem secured and the Jewish remnant safe and able to rebuild the temple unimpeded this will be the logical and correct time for the Ethiopians to return the Arc of the Covenant to..... as Isaiah states.....the Lord of Hosts at Mount Zion / Mount of Olives / Jerusalem.

 

Lets recap.......

Israel is attacked but is only able to hold off the many enemies for a short time.

Jerusalem is taken, the houses rifled, the women ravished, half the city goes into captivity, but the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

God intervenes in a mighty way..... when all seems lost. He uses the power of His presence to literally melt Israel's adversaries.

He steps on the Mount of Olives and establishes a new large valley which includes half of Jerusalem where the remnant of the Jews are fed and protected by forces from heaven.

After witnessing this unprecedented event many of the Gentile peoples of the world who are now fence sitters will choose Jesus as their savior.

Jesus will then appear in the sky above as the “banner” described twice in Isaiah.

Jesus will then resurrect the dead and the alive in Christ to meet him in the clouds where they will be taken to a place of safety for seven years.

Ethiopia will after witnessing the happenings in Jerusalem return to the Lord of Hosts at Mount Zion (the Mount of Olives, Jerusalem) the Arc of the Covenant which has been maintained and guarded in an Ethiopian church all these years.

This will prompt the Jewish remnant to rebuild the temple within the half of Jerusalem which is inside the angelic protection zone. They will have 3.5 years to complete this task unobstructed by outside forces.

The two witnesses will under divine protection be preaching the gospel worldwide for the first half of the 7 year tribulation period or the initial 1260 days which happens to be the same time frame as is set up for the protection of the Jewish remnant.

At the end of this 1260 day period the entire “left behind” world will have had the opportunity to accept Jesus as their savior because of the ministry of the two witnesses. There will be no excuse to have not accepted Him after this point from Jew or Gentile worldwide.

Anyone worldwide who chooses another Lord and Savior beyond his point in time does so at their own peril and will even be fooled by the true God with deception if they have choosen wrongly.

God will have given them every opportunity and witness to this point to have made the right decision. A line drawn in the sand so to speak.

The Antichrist will have arrived on the world stage at the beginning of the seven years right after the church was taken up. He will have spent the first 3.5 years during the ministry of the two witnesses making nice and being nice to the peoples of earth. During this time he will have maneuvered a tight grip on power worldwide.

At that half way point or 3.5 years into the seven years he will change from Mr. Nice Guy to the monster / beast that he is. It's then that he will declare to the world that he is the true god of the universe and demand to be treated as such. To prove His outlandish claim, the true God allows him to kill the two witnesses who were to this point invincible thus seemingly proving to the world that he is who he claims to be.

He will then “half way through the week” as described by Daniel cancel all sacrifice and offerings worldwide. Meaning that any worship by any religion worldwide will now be mandated to be given to him alone. John Doe public will also be mandated to worship him by taking his mark on their hand or forehead from which nothing can be bought or sold without the mark. Taking the mark will insure the loss of salvation.

Now remember at this point the first 3.5 years is over meaning that the ministry of the two witnesses is over and also the 1260 day protection period of the Jewish remnant is also over leaving Jerusalem and the new valley that was protected.....unprotected.

The Antichrist will quickly take advantage of this fact to boldly enter the new Jewish temple in Jerusalem and as per Revelation and Daniel he will blaspheme the true God, God's name, God's tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven.

He will then erect a breathing / talking statue of himself in this new temple.....the abomination of desolation.......All the Jews and others there who will not worship this AI (artificial intelligence) idol / abomination will be killed.

Jesus warned the Jews in Matthew 24 this day would come and when they witnessed this event....... this abomination of desolation standing in the temple.....they were to flee to the mountains.

This will start the last half of the 7 year tribulation period or what some call the great tribulation. There will be no divine protection afforded to Jew or Gentile from this point forward. A literal hell on earth will be propagated by the Antichrist and his evil cohorts and dispensed on all those who chose not to choose Jesus as their Lord and savior when they had ample opportunity.

So Gino....It may seem like I took the scenic route to answering your question of how the temple and all of its workings get replicated but the back story was extremely important in understanding the outcome.
