Even though there will plagues and judgments in diverse parts of the earth, will there not still be people, "living it up", somewhere, right up to the last moment? There were people eating, drinking, and getting married, right up to the flood:
Luke 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
There were people in Sodom eating, drinking, even buying and selling right up until its sudden destruction:
Luke 17:28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
It look like there will people living like that in Mystery, Babylon, right up to its sudden destruction, also:
Revelation 18:7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.
They live deliciously, right up to the day of her plagues and burning.Apparently that includes them still having their dainties right up until that last day:
Revelation 18:14 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.
Apparently they are still clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, until the very hour of her destruction:
Revelation 18:16 And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,
There will be seal, trumpet, and vial judgments, affecting different parts of the world, and apparently many people. So, will some people be there, in Mystery, Babylon escaping those things, only to face their own sudden judgment?
