"To Lewis Brackett and other Doves"

Lewis, thank for your reply to my post titled: Absolute Proof That The Rapture Is Not An Imminent Event.

I believe that in Luke 21:28, Jesus is telling His Church, the Body of Christ, (both Jewish & Gentile believers) to ‘look up and lift up your heads because your redemption draws near’.  I also believe in Luke 21:20 that Jesus is referring to His Church, the Body of Christ when he saysAnd when ye shall see……..”.  In Matthew 16:18, Jesus says: “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”  And then in John 10:16, Jesus says: “And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.” I believe the other sheep is referring to the Gentile believers in His Church, the Body of Christ. Both the Gentile and Jewish members of His Church, the Body of Christ, will hear His Voice at the rapture shout.

The salvation of the Gentiles was revealed long before Jesus was born. In Isaiah 49:6, God tells us: “And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.”

My position has not changed.  I still believe the rapture is not an imminent event for the reasons stated in my October 21, 2018 letter on Five Doves.

Your brother in Christ,

Garry B.
