"To Kevin H. and other Doves"

Kevin, my comments below are in reference to your letter on FD titled: Could We Be Wrong, and your video on this question.

Ezekiel 38:8 “After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, that is gathered out of many peoples, upon the mountains of Israel, which have been a continual waste; but it is brought forth out of the peoples, and they shall dwell securely, all of them.

Israel is a land brought back from the sword. After almost 1900 years, 46 invasions, and the war of Independence, the Land is Jewish again and free from foreign domination. This nation is indeed gathered from many nations and peoples. The Jews in Israel today come from 80-90 nations. The continual waste places are now inhabited. The Israelis today are rebuilding the ancient places and turning them into modern towns and cities. They dwell securely. The word securely has often been misinterpreted as meaning a state of peace, but this in not the meaning of the Hebrew root word batch. The nominal form of this root means ‘security’. This is not the security due to a state of peace, but a security due to confidence in their own strength. This is a good description of Israel today. The Israel army has fought four major wars since it’s founding and won them swiftly each time. Today, Israel is secure, confident that her army can repel any invasion from the Arab states. Israel is dwelling securely. This is very descriptive of the present day kibbutzim in Israel.

Therefore, according to Ezekiel 38:8 and Ezekiel 36:22-24, the latter years began when Israel was re-established as a nation in 1948. We are living in the latter years.
