"Hanukkah"

Dear John and Doves,

I will repeat the story of Hanukkah in brief. It's so important to recognise this Festival as it pertains to the coming of our LORD Jesus.

"During the Temple's restoration, enough oil was found to light the Menorah and give light for one day - although it would be another 7 days until more oil could be made. Since one day of light was better than none at all, the lamp was lit. The miracle of Hanukkah or the Festival of Lights was that the lamp stayed lit for 8 days until more oil was ready".

We know that Hanukkah is a winter festival. John 10 tells us that it was the Feast of Dedication (Hanukkah) in Jerusalem. It was winter.

It's so worth reading John 10 regarding our LORD Jesus words and movements during this time. Taking place in Jerusalem - in winter - during the Feast of Dedication to the restored Temple.

When listening to Natan's prophecy (for the zillionth time) it is blatantly apparent that he was describing the events prophesied in Zechariah 14. In detail. Natan was describing the Day of the LORD. Please read Zechariah 14 in the link below to see what I believe our LORD is revealing to us and why I believe it is during Hanukkah that our LORD Jesus will return.

Natan literally described the events in Zechariah 14..... exactly as he saw it happening. In Zechariah 14:6 it tells us...."On that day there will neither sunlight or cold, frosty darkness....." This tells me that the Day of the LORD will be in winter !! Which ties in with the winter feast of Hanukkah. Natan prophesied that the Temple will come down from heaven. It makes sense that this will happen on the Feast of Dedication. Hanukkah ! Our LORD Jesus is the Light of the World. Hanukkah is also known as the Festival of Lights. Reading the parable of the 10 virgins, the oil and lamps remind us of Hanukkah. This is told in Matthew 25. In Matthew 24: 36-41 we are told of the disappearance of people. People in a field or grinding at a mill etc. One will be taken, the other left.

I'll admit to feeling confused about Natan's prophecy, which literally describes the Day of the LORD in Zechariah 14. We have been taught so many different timelines as to what happens first and what happens last. This all seems to happen at breakneck speed, according to what Natan was shown. In complete contrast to what established eschatology teaches. It's a head scratcher. However, Almighty God tells us that He never does anything without informing his servants, the prophets, first.

Praying always for the peace of Jerusalem. Almighty God's Will be done.

In Jesus precious Name, we pray.
