Something very peculiar happened when I watched the video clip below. I follow the Christian directive that astrology is NOT the same as astronomy and to seek our destiny (so to speak) in the stars, is not a scriptural directive. My defense of the following thoughts is that Christian watchmen who do follow the movements of our planets and stars, also use the ancient depictions of the starscape (for want of a better word). Using the pictogram of the virgin in the constellation of Virgo etc. You get my drift, I'm sure. The constellations are highlighted by the movement of the sun. Hence they are called "Sun Signs" or "Star Signs".
The month of Hanukkah falls under the sign of Sagittarius. The sun moves into the constellation of Sagittarius on 22nd November, 2018 and continues through until 21st December 2018 - which is also the date of the winter solstice.
Sagittarius is known as The Archer. It is often depicted as a rider on a horse, armed with a bow and arrow. Or a centaur (half man half horse) with a bow and arrow. I will admit that I enjoyed researching this. It brought to mind the rider on the white horse, armed with a bow, in the book of Revelation. There are some rubbish websites that focus on your horocsope etc., but there are loads that focus on the ancient teachings and mythology etc. You will enjoy researching it all, if you have the time. The video clip below is full of information and puts special focus on 18th Kislev........... November 26th.
