Paul, our apostle and the one to whom Jesus revealed the rapture of the body of Christ, gives us yet another timing clue in II Thessalonians 2.
I believe it is that we will be gone before Hanukkah.
Paul is comforting these folks because someone fed them a load of crap, that the day of the Lord had started and they were still on earth. From what I understand, it would have been easy for them to believe the lie because of the trials and persecution they were experiencing. It made sense to them that they were going through, at least part of, the judgement years. Their blessed hope was getting crushed.
Paul says the day of the Lord had not come because of two things: their departure comes first and after this the man of lawlessness is revealed.
I believe the man of lawlessness will begin to manefest during a Hanukkah from what I read in Daniel 10 and 11.
Daniel had been seeking God during a long fast. In 10:5 a heavenly being comes to Daniel and begins to explain in some detail about the nations' conflicts in and around Israel in Israel's future.
In 11:31-35, it seems that the account ends at what would be the time/events of Antiochus and the Maccabees that would be known later as Hanukkah. The detailed description given to Daniel then seems to "leap-frog" all the way to the manefestation, or rise, of the antichrist in our future.
From this, I had concluded prior that the evil one's pseudo-messiah will begin to reveal himself in some way on the worldstage during a future Hanukkah.
I find it interesting that a recent political leader made a point to celebrate Hanukkah even though I knew he had no love for the jewish people. I came to the conclusion that that individual was, at a minimum, looking forward to a future revealing of another "Antiochus".
I observe in II Thessalonians 2, starting at verse 3 and through to verse 10, Paul's description of the antichrist. I believe Paul is drawing part of his description directly from the verses in Daniel 11. There is quite the similarity. This ties what Paul is describing to the events beginning during a future Hanukkah.
So, from Paul's sequence of "departure first" and then "a revealing of another Antiochus" afterward, I see in this that we are gone before Hanukkah.
As I expressed prior, I believe this upcoming Feast of Dedication is for the Chosen Remnant of Israel-Judah, and in particular the 144,000 jewish witnesses.
I observe during Solomon's reign, the 8 days of dedication. (Yom Kippur was within this but was not counted as being part of the 7 days of dedication "celebration" since Yom Kippur was a holy day of fasting, introspection and mourning before God. This insertion of Yom Kippur caused the week of Tabernacles to be pushed forward a day and is why the 8th day back then landed on the 23rd instead of its usual 22nd.)
After the 8 days of dedication came the total of 8 days of Tabernacles. Dedication first, Tabernacles second.
I believe this is a type and shadow for Israel at the start and at the ending of the 7 judgement years. Hanukkah is at the beginning and a Tabernacles finishes it seven years later, with that Tabernacles' 8th day, the Last Day, when Jesus will perform the resurrection as Martha knew about.
This upcoming Hanukkah will fulfill the type and shadow, for the 144,000 witnesses, of Aaron and his sons being dedicated for seven days as seen in Leviticus 8:33 through to 9:4, with God appearing to them on the 8th day, or December 10th.
The following is how, I believe, God has pointed us to December 10th as being for some kind of revelation from God to a select group within Israel-Judah:
November 2nd to November 3rd was marked by God in two ways (I will explain this shortly). Counting November 3rd as day one, the 38th day is the 8th day of Hanukkah, December 10th. This 38 count of time is very significant for Israel in the scriptures.
How long was the man a cripple, waiting for a healing beside the pool, before Jesus revealed Himself to that one man in the crowd and healed only him? 38 years.
How much longer did Israel have to wander in the desert after the rebellion of the spies until that rebellious generation was completely purged out of Israel. 38 years (see Deut. 2:14).
So, the ending of a 38 unit count of time resulted in a purification of Israel and a healing of a select individual.
I suggest that this 38 unit count from, and including November 3rd, points to what will be the dedicated condition of the 144,000 at the end of this coming Hanukkah, and thus fulfilling the type/shadow of Aaron and his sons dedication to God for their priestly roles.
Now, back to how November 2/3 was marked by God.
From the last blood moon of the 2014/2015 tetrad, if you add 726 days (#726 in Strong's is the word "harpatzo") brings you to the day of the Rev 12 sign. That one year birth announcement, fulfilling the picture of what Abraham was told about the timing of Isaac's birth by the three (Jesus and two angels), brings us to September 23rd, 2018. Add the necessary 40 days wait per Lev 12, for the mom with the baby to then appear before God, brings you to the ending of the day on November 2nd.
Now, from the Great American ecclipse in 2017 as being, on the popular jewish calendar, Elul 1, if you add one jewish year to the next Elul 1 in 2018, you end up on the weekend of August 11th. On that night, Jupiter, for its third time due to its retrograde motion, lined up with a star in the scales of Libra whose name means "the price is deficient". This celestial event echoes what Daniel told the last king of Babylon just before his empire was brought down in a day. On November 3rd, the sun lined up perfectly with this very same star in Libra, pointing to the idea that promised judgement will be fulfilled.
So, I have God marking November 2/3 as a transition point of a "coming before God" for some, and an "experience of judgement" for others right afterward.
The 38 days from this November 2/3 marked, transition, counting start point, inclusive of November 3rd (judgement is coming theme) brings us to the last day of Hanukkah for the 144,000, at which time they will experience a revealing from God, like Aaron and his sons experienced on their dedication week's 8th day. A purification of this group has been completed and some kind of "healing of their cripple-ness" performed by Jesus only for this select group with the "crowd" of the nation of Israel.
The November 2/3 was also a marked, transition, counting start point for the body of Christ as well. Counting inclusively from November 2nd (the appearing before God theme), started a 24 day wait for us like Daniel also experienced in Daniel 10, before, I believe, he came face to face with Jesus. This wait for us will end November 25th.
I will go into this a little in my next post.
