IS NUCLEAR WAR PREDICTED IN THE BIBLE?

Below is a revised tract that I wrote a few years back, that gives several verses from the Bible that strongly suggest that nuclear war is in the near future for our planet. You owe it to yourself and your loved ones to examine these Scriptures so that you, and your loved ones, can ESCAPE, in the Rapture, that we should expect, according to 1st Thessalonians, will happen simultaneous with this Sudden Nuclear Destruction.

Nuclear war is not a popular subject.  It is certainly not a pleasant thought.  Therefore, most people, like the proverbial ostrich, bury their heads in the sand, and refuse to examine the very serious warnings of Sudden Nuclear Destruction that God provides for us in His Word.

I pray that you will not be one of those people, and that you will pray that the Lord will open up your heart to what His Word says to us in the rest of this very serious, and somber, post.

In order for Jesus to allow Christians to ESCAPE this Sudden (nuclear) Destruction, of 1st Thess. 5, and Revelation 18 (and many other Scriptures), there HAS to be a game-changing Sudden Destruction event.  As in the Days of Noah, and as in the Days of Lot, the Word says, God's righteous people, were provided a means of ESCAPE, and even thus shall it be in the Day the Son of Man (Jesus) is revealed.  According to Luke 17, the Sudden Destruction and the GREAT ESCAPE happened in the SAME DAY.

After 40+ years of studying Bible Prophecy, I have become convinced of these 5 things, in relation to the subject of nuclear war, and the first Rapture:

1.  The Rapture of 1st Thess. 4 and the Sudden nuclear Destruction of 1st Thess. 5 are simultaneous (see preceding paragraph).  These two Chapters are connected by the conjunction "BUT".  This means that the subject matter of Chapter 4 is carried over into Chapter 5.  Man made the Chapter divisions.  God did not.

2.  The "snare", or "trap", that Jesus warns us about in Luke 21: 35, is the game-changing event of nuclear warfare and the resulting reign of the Antichrist in the Great Tribulation, that the New World Order elite has planned for this world.  It is an ominous warning that Jesus gives to ALL end-time Christians.  It reads like this, "For as a snare (trap) shall it come on ALL THEM WHO DWELL ON THE FACE OF THE WHOLE EARTH."

I challenge you to read the Book of Revelation, and assume that NUCLEAR destruction has just thrust the world into the Great Tribulation, and the reign of the Antichrist.  Can you see how the vast majority of the plagues, and judgments, and destruction, throughout the Book of Revelation, are a direct, or indirect result of nuclear devastation upon the earth?

3.  The theme of Revelation 18 is the total nuclear destruction of Mystery Babylon.  Like many Bible Prophecy students, I used to lean towards Mystery Babylon being Rome.  In the last decade, or so, I have come to the understanding that Mystery Babylon is New York City. It is the last goal on the agenda of the New World Order elite to bring down the United States as a world power, as we are the only obstacle that is left before they will be able to institute their evil, sinister plot to force a one-world government onto the world.

Now that one of their own, Hillary Clinton, was not elected as President of the most powerful country in the world, they believe that their time has now come.  Obama MUST NOW be given the power TO CONTINUE WHAT HE HAS STARTED (Rev. 13:5).  But there has to be the GAME-CHANGING event, in order for the world to accept the Antichrist as the world leader, and to accept a one-world government.  Revelation 17 even confirms this, as it tells us that the 7th King, or leader of the most powerful country in the world, will ONLY SERVE A SHORT TIME.  Donald Trump's days are numbered.

Rev. 18 tells us that the 8th King (and the 6th King), who is Barack Hussein Obama, is the Antichrist, and also one of the first 7 Kings.  There is very little doubt in my mind that this game-changing event is the nuclear Sudden Destruction (probably of New York City and possibly other major U.S. cities).  Do you really understand the extreme urgency of what Rev. 17 and 18 are currently teaching us?  Trump only serves a short time.  His time, and the world's time, is almost over, before the reign of the Antichrist, and the start of the Great Tribulation.  THE RAPTURE AND THE SUDDEN NUCLEAR DESTRUCTION ARE NOW STARING US RIGHT IN THE FACE!

Nuclear destruction of Rome, Italy, is NOT the game-changing event that the NWO elite are planning.  It is New York City.  The U.S. HAS to be taken down, to ensure the success of the planned one-world government. Rev. 18:2 says, "Babylon the great IS FALLEN, IS FALLEN.

Why two "IS FALLENS"?  Could it be that the most notorious event in recent U.S. history, on 9/11/01, was the 1st IS FALLEN for Mystery Babylon?  Are we now awaiting the 2nd IS FALLEN, as in the game-changing nuclear Sudden Destruction of New Y:ork City, that will be simultaneous with the 1st Rapture, and also bring about the Great Tribulation?  I personally believe that is the Biblical scenario that is being set before us RIGHT NOW.

4.  I am convinced that NUCLEAR Sudden Destruction is prophesied in the Bible.  A number of Scriptures that confirm this are included in the tract below.  These verses are very sobering and ominous.  I challenge you to let the Lord speak to you, as you read the Bible verses below.

5.  I am convinced that not all Christians will participate in the first Rapture.  The Lord would not tell end-time Christians, in Luke 21:36, TO PRAY TO BE FOUND WORTHY TO ESCAPE ALL THESE THINGS if all Christians are automatically going to escape, in the form of the Rapture.  The Word has much to say about non-watching, worldly, fence-straddling, backslidden, and lukewarm Christians.

Rev. 7 makes it very clear that during the Tribulation a vast multitude that no man could number, suddenly appear in Heaven before the Lord, clothed with white robes.  Verse 14 says, "These are they which CAME OUT OF GREAT TRIBULATION and HAVE WASHED THEIR ROBES, AND MADE THEM WHITE.  It should be obvious to all of us that these are Christians who had dirty robes at the time of the 1st Rapture, and had to go through all, or part of, the Great Tribulation.

Some of you reading this post will find yourselves in this vast multitude who had to wash their dirty robes during the Great Tribulation.  Woe unto you!  Many of you have Christian family and friends who will be found with dirty robes, or a lukewarm spirit, and will be cast into the Great Tribulation.  Woe unto them!

The hour is RIGHT NOW very, very late.  The time for playing games with our Christianity is over.  The time for REPENTENCE is RIGHT NOW.  The time to warn our family and friends is NOW.  Forward this post to them before it is eternally too late.  It is our Christian responsibility to pray for them, but also to WARN them.  It is up to the Holy Spirit to convict them.  Jesus WARNED us to come out from among the world, and be ye separate.  And THEN He would receive us unto Himself.  All of us know of worldly Christians, who have not separated themselves from the world.  Woe unto them!  If this applies to you, Woe unto you!

At the end of the tract below, is a prayer for those of you who would like to prepare for the Rapture.  Please let me know if you have said this prayer and meant it in your heart.  

                              

                                  NUCLEAR MIDNIGHT!!—HOW CLOSE ARE WE???

 

NUCLEAR MIDNIGHT!!—HOW CLOSE ARE WE??  Not exactly a pleasant thought, is it?  After reading the next paragraph, some of you will probably not read any further.  The average person wants to be like the proverbial ostrich and bury his head in the sand, ignoring the situation, ignoring what the Bible has to say, and pretend like nuclear war is never going to take place.

 

THERE NOW EXISTS THE EXTREME LIKELIHOOD OF NUCLEAR WEAPONS BEING UNLEASHED UPON THIS EARTH IN THE VERY, VERY NEAR FUTURE, for the following reasons:

 

1. The number of  U.S. and Israel's enemies who NOW possess nuclear weapons include North Korea, Russia, China, and possibly Iran.  THE MOUNTING FRICTION BETWEEN NORTH KOREA AND THE U.S. COULD EXPLODE INTO WORLD WAR III ANY DAY NOW!!! This is causing great alarm for the entire world!

 

2. There are numerous Scriptures that make it almost a virtual certainty that nuclear weapons will be used during the rapidly approaching Great Tribulation period.  That time is almost here!

 

3. The extremely high tensions in and around Israel.  Israel is one of the top nuclear threats in the world today and Scriptures strongly suggest a nuclear holocaust in the Middle East for the last days. (Isaiah Chapters 13—23)

 

4. The Bible indicates, in Ezekiel 38 and 39, that Russia will likely be the nation that ignites World War III.  No, Russia is not the peace-loving democratic country that it is being portrayed as.  A leopard does not change its spots overnight.  RUSSIA IS NOW AN AWESOME MILITARY POWER, WITH MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF NUCLEAR WEAPONS!!!  Disarmament?  Don’t be naïve.  It’s all talk and almost no action.  The U.S. is disarming, but not Russia.

 

5. Since the “breakup” of the Soviet Union, there has been a VERY RAPID SPREAD OF NUCLEAR WEAPONS AND NUCLEAR TECHNOLOGY INTO NUMEROUS THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES!  The number of countries possessing nuclear weapons or nuclear technology is constantly increasing.  Several reports have placed nuclear suitcase bombs in the hands of terrorists, very possibly in the U.S.

 

6. The VERY RAPID emergence of all the other prophetic signs in the Bible that indicate that the End of this Age is getting EXTREMELY CLOSE!!!

 

The reason for confronting you with these alarming facts is so that you will be confronted with your eternal destiny!  Millions upon millions upon millions of people (over one-half the population of the earth, according to the Book of Revelation) will die during this time of Tribulation when these horrible weapons of mass destruction are unleashed!  YOU MAY BE ONE OF THEM!  If you are, WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY?

 

When the atomic bombs hit Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan, probably not one person, out of the tens of thousands of people who were killed instantly, was thinking that their life would be over in a split second.  There was no time to meditate upon their eternal destiny.  There was no time to prepare to meet God.

 

Right now YOU DO have the opportunity to meditate on your eternal destiny.  According to the Bible, there are only two choices.  Heaven and Hell are both VERY REAL PLACES!  (There is absolutely NO Biblical evidence of purgatory.  It is a fictional invention of man—not a place prepared by God.) 

 

Be honest with yourself.  If your life should end in a split second, as millions will when these bombs hit the earth, WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY?  “It is appointed unto man once to die, but after this the Judgment.” (Hebrews 9:27)

 

The Bible is pre-written history because God knows the beginning from the end.  NUCLEAR MIDNIGHT—HOW CLOSE ARE WE??  We have already presented you with evidence that we believe shows that we are VERY, VERY CLOSE TO NUCLEAR MIDNIGHT!  PREPARE TO MEET THY GOD!  YOU MAY NOT HAVE A SECOND CHANCE!

 

Does the Bible really predict the unleashing of nuclear weapons in these LAST DAYS in which we are NOW living?  You be the judge.  Some believe that God’s wrath during the Tribulation will all be supernatural, and not through the works of man, but Psalms 110:5 says, “The Lord at thy right hand, shall strike through kings in the day of His wrath.”

 

Jeremiah, Chapter 25, has an OMINOUS WARNING for us today.  Verses 32 and 33 warn, “Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation and a GREAT WHIRLWIND (nuclear explosion?) shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth.  AND THE SLAIN OF THE EARTH SHALL BE AT THAT DAY FROM ONE END OF THE EARTH EVEN UNTO THE OTHER END OF THE EARTH:  they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground.”

 

This certainly is not a pretty picture and the next two verses do not get any better:  “Howl, ye shepherds, and cry; and wallow yourselves in the ashes, ye PRINCIPAL OF THE FLOCK; for the days of your dispersions are accomplished:  and ye shall fall like a pleasant vessel.  They have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.  Therefore, hath the curse DEVOURED THE EARTH, AND THEY THAT DWELL THEREIN ARE DESOLATE.  THEREFORE, THE INHABITANTS OF THE EARTH ARE BURNED, AND FEW MEN LEFT.”

 

What a frightening picture!!!  The word “desolate” means laid waste; in a ruinous condition; destroyed; made uninhabitable.  IT SURE SOUNDS LIKE NUCLEAR DESTRUCTION!!!  The “principal of the flock” could very well represent the United States.  It is not only the most powerful country in the world but also the PRINCIPAL country in presenting the gospel and in supplying the rest of the world with missionaries.

 

Other Bible scholars see a nuclear confrontation between the U.S. and Russia, in Ezekiel 39:6, which says, “And I will send A FIRE on Magog (Russia), and among them who dwell carelessly in the isles (United States?)"  Here is a quote from a speech made by Mikhail Gorbachev in 1987, when he was President of the Soviet Union:  “Comrades, do not be concerned about all you hear about glastnost, perestroika, and democracy in the coming years.  These are primarily for outward (Western) comsumption.  There will be no significant internal changes in the Soviet Union, other than for cosmetic purposes.  OUR PURPOSE IS TO DISARM THE AMERICANS AND TO LET THEM FALL ASLEEP.”

 

He went on to state that the goals of the Soviet Union were to get the U.S. to:

 

1. Withdraw conventional forces from Europe.

 

2. Withdraw nuclear forces from Europe.

 

3. Stop proceeding with Strategic Defense Initiative (Star Wars).

 

These goals have now been achieved.  The Wounded Bear may be ready to strike SOON!

 

II Peter 3:10 says, “The day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with A GREAT NOISE AND THE ELEMENTS SHALL MELT WITH FERVENT HEAT (the results of nuclear weapons?), the earth also and the works that are therein shall be BURNED UP.”  Zechariah 14:12 also sounds exactly like the results of NUCLEAR warfare.  “Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.”

 

This verse could be describing YOU!  This little pamphlet could be God’s LAST WARNING TO YOU!  Isn’t it about time you stopped putting your faith in mankind to somehow solve all these problems in relation to nuclear weapons and put your faith in God.  God is going to remove the Bride of Christ off the face of the earth, in what is known as the Rapture (1st Thessalonians 4:16-18), just before the massive destruction begins.  If YOU do not know Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour, you will either be destroyed in this catastrophic Tribulation period or left behind in the wake of the nuclear aftermath.  JESUS CHRIST IS YOUR ONLY HOPE!!!

 

Luke 17:28-30 is a type of God removing the righteous people (the Rapture of the born-again Christians whom the Lord finds worthy) (Luke 21:36), followed immediately by SUDDEN DESTRUCTION.  It is a description of the unsaved world today, totally unsuspecting, totally unprepared, totally pre-occupied with the CARES OF THIS LIFE (Luke 21:34).

 

The verses read like this:  “As it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; But THE SAME DAY that Lot went out of Sodom, it rained FIRE and brimstone from heaven, and DESTROYED THEM ALL.  EVEN THUS SHALL IT BE IN THE DAY WHEN THE SON OF MAN IS REVEALED (NUCLEAR FIRE?).”

 

These sinful people of Sodom and Gomorrah received no advance warning.  They received no second chance.  These verses tell us that’s the same way it will be the day Christ returns.  No advance warning and no second chance for MILLIONS UPON MILLIONS UPON MILLIONS of people.  If YOU don’t get saved BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE, perhaps you will be one of them.  If you are a worldly, backslidden, or lukewarm Christian, perhaps you will be one of them.

 

If you are not yet convinced of the magnitude of this destruction, let’s take a look at the Book of Revelation.  Chapter 6, verses 4 and 8, say, “And there went out another horse that was red:  and POWER (nuclear?) was given to him that sat thereon TO TAKE PEACE FROM THE EARTH, and that they should KILL ONE ANOTHER:  and there was given unto him A GREAT SWORD (nuclear weapons?).  And I looked, and behold a pale horse:  and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him AND POWER WAS GIVEN UNTO THEM OVER THE FOURTH PART OF THE EARTH, TO KILL WITH SWORD, AND WITH HUNGER, AND WITH DEATH…”

 

The following apocalyptic judgment appears in Revelation 8:7, “The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and FIRE MINGLED WITH BLOOD, and they were cast upon the earth:  and THE THIRD PART OF TREES WAS BURNT UP, AND ALL GREEN GRASS WAS BURNT UP.”  Doesn’t this sound like the result of NUCLEAR DESTRUCTION?  Revelation 9:18 says, “By these three, was THE THIRD PART OF MEN KILLED, by the FIRE, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone…”

 

NUCLEAR MIDNIGHT—HOW CLOSE ARE WE?  An in-depth study of end-times Bible prophecy, and an open-minded analysis of current events in our present world, confirm that we are VERY, VERY CLOSE!  II Peter 3:11-12 should give all of us reason to examine ourselves and our relationship with God: “Seeing then that all these things shall be DISSOLVED, what manner of persons ought ye to be, in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hastening unto the coming of the day of God, wherein THE HEAVENS BEING ON FIRE SHALL BE DISSOLVED, AND THE ELEMENTS SHALL MELT WITH FERVENT HEAT.” (Nuclear bombs?)

 

The message of this tract has been quite sobering and quite frightening, if you are not a born-again Christian, who is living close to the Lord.  How foolish you would be to continue to put your faith in mankind!  (Russia and China and North Korea, have their NUCLEAR missiles aimed at the U.S., even as you are reading this.)  We are so close NOW to the Second Coming of Christ and nuclear devastation that every day you go without Jesus, you are playing RAPTURE ROULETTE WITH YOUR ETERNAL DESTINY!  Isn’t it about time you placed your trust in God, and not in men?  You can become a born-again Christian and take place in the GREAT ESCAPE, the Rapture of the Bride of Christ, by saying this prayer and meaning it in your heart:

 

          “Dear Lord, I know that I am a sinner and that you died on the cross for my sins.  I repent of my sins, and I turn away from my sins, and turn my life over to you.  I receive you as my personal Lord and Saviour.  Help me to live a victorious Christian life from now until the day you come to take me to Heaven.  Deliver me from the wrath and destruction that is SOON to fall on this wicked, sin-filled world.  In Jesus’ name, I pray.  Amen.”  Please write to me, and let me know if you have just prayed that prayer and asked Jesus into your heart and life.

 

“And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, AND FIRE, AND PILLARS OF SMOKE.  The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come.  And it shall come to pass, that WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE DELIVERED.” (Joel 2:30-32)
