Yes; I believe that it will happen again.
Ecclesiastes 1:9 KJV
The thing that hath been, "it" is "that" which shall be; and "that" which is done is "that" which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
This same principle applies to "outer darkness."
Has outer darkness ever happened in the scriptures before?
Outer darkness is a darkness that may be felt, and those who experience it' are "bound" in that, they cannot move out of their place.
Exodus 10:21 KJV
And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward "heaven," that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even "darkness" which may be felt. And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was "a thick' darkness" in all the land of Egypt three days(:) They' saw not one another, neither rose "any" from his place for three days(:) but "all" the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.
Will there be "some" who will again experience this "outer darkness" in the future?
Yes; It' is reserved for those who say, Lord, Lord and are not wearing their garments, and do not the things which our Lord said.
Lord, Lord is mentioned 5 times in the whole of the scriptures. They are all 5 found in the New Testament.
1. Matthew 7:21 Not every "one" that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
2. Matthew 7:22 Many will say unto me "in that day," Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
3. Matthew 25:11 Afterward' came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
4. Luke 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
5. Luke 13:25 And "once" the master of the house is risen up, and has shut the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he' shall answer and say unto you, I' know you not whence ye are:
"And there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth," also mentioned 5 times in the whole of the scriptures.
1.Matthew 8:12
2. Matthew 22:13
3. Matthew 24:51
4. Matthew 25:30
5. Luke 13:28
5 is the number for resurrection and transformation.
"Some of you" also mentioned 5 times in the whole of the scriptures.
1. Amos 4:11
2. Luke 21:16
3. John 6:64
4. 1 Corinthians 6:11
5. Revelation 2:10
"when ye shall see" also mentioned 5 times in the whole of the scriptures.
1. Matthew 24:33
2. Mark 13:14
3. Mark 13:29
4. Luke 13:28
5. Luke 21:20
"outer darkness" is mentioned 3 times in the whole of the scripture.
1. Matthew 8:12
2. Matthew 22:13= bind him hand and foot and cast him into outer darkness.
3. Matthew 25:30
All three of these passage also include "weeping and gnashing of teeth"
Isaiah 8:20 KJV
To the law and to the testimony(:) if they' speak not according to "this word", it is because there is no "light" in them.
John 1:4 In him' was life; and the life' was the "light" of men. 5) And the light shineth in darkness; and darkness comprehended it not.
The Psalmist wrote in Psalms 143:3 KJV
For "the enemy" hath persecuted "my soul"; and hath smitten my life down to the ground; he' hath made me to dwell "in darkness", AS those that have been long dead.
Allow me to note here of a study in which I' now endeavor to
Identify the heart, soul, and spirit of man.
1. The soul= the life of man, the breath of God Genesis 2:7
2. The spirit = that part of man which "must" worship God, "in" spirit and "in" truth. John 4:23-24
3. The heart = it is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? Jeremiah 17:9
When John wrote in Revelation 1:10 he said; I' was "in" the (S)pirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a "great" voice, as of a trumpet, 11) Saying, I' am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last(:) and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia;
I posed the question; How is one "in" the Spirit?
The spirit of man was (past tense) formed within him, when God stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundation (singular) of the earth. Zech 12:1
THIS was before God formed man from the dust of the ground, or breathed into his nostrils the breath of "life" whereby, man "became" a living "soul".
The spirit of man is a spirit.
God is "a" Spirit. John 4:24 Not just any spirit, but "a" signifies a specific Spirit.
When John said in Revelation 4:2 And immediately I' was "in" the spirit (:) and behold, a throne "was" set in heaven, and "one" sat "on" the throne.
NOW we read 1 John 5:7 For there are (3) that bear record "in heaven", the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost(:) and these (3) are one'.
Please note the Holy Ghost is present and also on the throne.
John knew exactly "who" sat on that throne.
Other translations of the Bible read...someone sat on the throne in Revelation 4:2.
John was to write the things which must be "hereafter"
Now we read John 14:26 But the Comforter (capital C) which "is" the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send "in my name", he' shall teach you' all' things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I' have said unto you.
Now John 15:26 But when the Comforter (capital C) "is" come, whom I' will send unto you from the Father, "even "the" Spirit of truth", which proceedeth "from" the Father, he' shall testify of me(:)
Comforter (capital C) is mentioned (4) times in the New Testament.
comforter (lower case c) is mentioned (4) times in the Old Testament.
John said the Comforter (capital C) is the Holy Ghost in John 14:26. Therefore we know now that the Comforter which John was speaking of as one member of the 3 being ONE; sat on the throne in Revelation 4:2 the Holy Ghost, and of him our Lord said in John 14:16 that he' may abide with "you" forever.
Soooo.....The Comforter which was and is to abide with "us" for ever; is on the throne, then; we also are in heaven "at that time" in which John saw him.
Our Lord told us that he would never leave us or forsake us. Therefore we can assume that the Holy Ghost, our Comforter, is the Lord Jesus Christ himself. His Holy Ghost. Holy, because it is God and of God.
Now the question I ask of myself and those who may wish to reply an answer.
Is it possible for the "spirit of man" to leave the body and return again, according to the will of the Lord God?
I believe and know that it is possible. We read that John was "in" the spirit on the Lord's day. His body never left and went to heaven, and saw the throne.
The flesh is corrupt, it had to be John's spirit, which is the part of man, which God formed within him, when God stretched forth the heavens and laid the foundation of the earth. The "spirit of man" is that which must worship God, "in" spirit, and "in" truth.
Luke 3:22 is the only reference where he names the holy Spirit, as "Holy Ghost." (H)
All other references name him holy Spirit.
In the Old Testament he is named "holy spirit," in Psalms 51:11
There is only one' passage in the whole of the scriptures where he is named "Holy Spirit" and it is the words of our Lord Jesus in Luke 11:13
I am still working in this study....I hope to reach a full understanding and conclusion in time.
I believe it is possible for the "spirit of man" to leave the body and return again to the body.
Paul said in 2 Corinthians 12:2 KJV and is in ( )
( whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.
2 Corinthians 12:3 KJV And I knew such a man, ( whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell(:) God knoweth;)
Some will say this man was "John" the revelator.
In order to prove such, one must delve into an extensive study of history and connect the time line of when' John was caught up to see these things in Revelation, and When Paul might have known John, or of John.
But Paul said; I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago.
Perhaps it was John.
And John said; I' was "in" the Spirit on the Lord's day.
I love the Word of God.
God Bless
