"WITHSTANDING THE TEMPEST"

When clouds darken your sunny skies,
And winds beat upon your face,
Will you wilt before the weather,
Or will you continue to run the race?

When your enemies tear you asunder,
And your friends are nowhere near,
Will you crawl into a corner,
And cower in mortal fear?

Will you continue to trust in yourself,
And the precepts of other men?
Or will you finally trust in God,
And let your journey thus begin?

It is only when you lose yourself,
That your faith is finally bred,
The Lord can then water every seed,
That you have ever diligently spread.

So don’t be discouraged,
By tempests that vociferously swirl,
We’ll soon be fitted with wings,
To carry us from this world.

The Season is upon us,
The Rapture is looming near,
Wait!  Shhhh!  Listen!!!
Is that a shofar that I hear?
