"Final Thoughts"
Final Thoughts.....
By Pastor F. M. Riley

"But as the days of Noah were, so shall
also the coming of the Son of man be," Matthew 24:37.
"And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be
also in the days of the Son of man," Luke 17:26.
Introduction
The Lord God practices what He
preaches! In His inspired Word He explicitly states,
".....at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three
witnesses, shall the matter be established," Deuteronomy
19:15. See also 17:6, Matthew 18:16, 2 Corinthians 13:1, 1
Timothy 5:19, and Hebrews 10:28. Every great truth or
teaching set forth in God's Word is always repeated elsewhere in
the Bible, and some truths are repeated many times. The
Lord God does practice what He preaches!
In the text Scriptures chosen for this
study, the Lord explicitly states twice that just as it was in
the days of Noah, so shall it be at the time of the Lord's
coming. The Greek word translated as "coming" in Matthew
24:37 is the word "parousia." This particular Greek word
occurs 24 times in the New Testament, and is connected with the
resurrection and rapture of God's people over and over again in
the Scriptures.
It should then be evident to any
reader who accepts God's Word as literal truth, that the coming
of the Lord Jesus to resurrect and rapture His New Covenant
believers to glory, will occur just "as it was in the days of
Noah." So.......
Where we are at.....
As I write, we are in 2017 on our
Gentile calendar, and in the month of November; November 1st to
be exact. Is this important, and if so, why? I'm so
glad you asked!
In all of my Bible studies throughout
this year, I have emphasized that this present year of 2017 is
the "appointed" year for the Lord's coming. Yes, I
certainly do know that some Bible believing Christians
choose to disagree with me on this. Some still insist that
2018 is the year the Lord will come for us. I mean no
offense to any reader, but I do not accept such a delay for the
Lord's coming. Why?
Because of inspired numerical
values! "17" is the number in the Bible which
signifies, "Victory; triumph; to overcome." See what the
inspired Apostle Paul himself said in 1 Corinthians
15:53-58. The two digits in this number add up to
eight. 1 + 7 = 8. "8" is the number in the Bible
which signifies, "Change; new beginning; new birth; new
things." So both the victory and the change for God's
people are going to take place during this present year of 2017.
Now let's compare this with "18" as in
2018. "18" is the number in the Bible which signifies,
"Bondage; to enslave; slavery." It is also glaringly the
number made up of a multiple of three sixes; 666. The two
digits, 1 + 8, add up to nine. "9" is the number in the
Bible which signifies, "Spirit; God's Holy Spirit or an evil
spirit." Nine is also connected again and again in the
Scriptures with God's work or judgment upon unbelieving, Christ
rejecting mankind. Quite obviously the year, 2018, will be
the first full year of the seven year Tribulation period.
Now in view of the numerical values of
these two years, and much other evidence, I have to
believe that 2017 is the appointed year for the coming of our
Lord to resurrect and rapture His Church and people to Himself
and to glory. And I am acting upon my belief by writing
this study to warn all who read it about.......
The Shortness of Time.
Because the Lord Himself clearly stated
that His coming would be "as it was in the days of Noah."
And how was it "in the days of Noah?"
"In the six hundredeth year of Noah's
life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the
same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and
the windows of heaven were opened," Genesis 7:11.
On the calendar in use at that time,
the second month of the year was the month of Heshvan.
Every serious Bible student knows that the Lord God later
changed the calendar year in Exodus 12 for the benefit of His
chosen Israelite people. When the Lord God changed the calendar
in Exodus 12, the month of Heshvan then became the 8th month on
the Jewish calendar. But in "the days of Noah" the month
of Heshvan was the second month of the year. And on the
17th day of Heshvan was when the flood [of God's judgment] came
upon apostate mankind on the earth.
Some readers may not be aware
that even as I write today, we are living in the month of
Heshvan on the Jewish calendar. The month of
Heshvan this year on the Jewish calendar, began on the 21st day
of October on our Gentile calendar. Now count up the days
for yourself, and the reader will see that today, November 1st,
is the 12th day of Heshvan on the Jewish calendar.
Why is this so important? Why is
it important enough that I would devote the time and effort to
writing a Bible study on the subject? Because the judgment
of the flood came upon mankind on the 17th day of the month of
Heshvan. Folks, that is just six days [inclusive] from
today. This coming Monday, November 6th, will be Heshvan
17 on the Jewish calendar; the day the flood began in "the days
of Noah."
These Next Six Days
Is there anything going on in the world
today, which might indicate that the Lord may come for His
people within the next six days? Again, I'm so glad
you asked!
I recently wrote and sent out a warning
about November 4th. On this date, just three more days
from now, an uprising [a civil war] is planned to occur in this
country against President Trump and our present
government. I have received much more information about
this planned uprising since I wrote and sent out my
warning. There is no question in my mind that terrible
things are going to begin happening in this country on this
coming Saturday, November 4th.
By the way, November is the 11th month
on our calendar. "11" is the number in the Bible
signifying, "Judgment; judgment of God." "4" is the number
in the Bible signifying, "Man; natural man; the flesh."
Our U.S. government is also now well
aware of what has been planned for November 4th. How do I
know this? Because I have received information to the
effect that the U.S. military has called for United Nations
troops to come into America and help put down the uprising which
our government is expecting to occur on November 4th. Some
readers will likely see U.N. troops moving into their cities or
towns this very week.
Folks, I don't believe for a minute
that the introduction of United Nations troops into America will
be any better for our country, than the civil uprising will
be. It appears to me that the "handwriting is on the
wall," for America, Daniel 5:5; 5:25-28. This nation, once
the greatest nation on earth, has "sown the wind," and is now
going "to reap the whirlwind," Hosea 8:7. Do our
readers really believe God's Word? If our readers claim to
do so, then believe this, "The wicked shall be turned into hell,
and all the nations that forget God," Psalm 9:17. Now look
across our nation and tell me with a straight face that the
American people today are still devoted to the Godly principles
upon which our founding fathers established this
nation. Well...??
What is the Solution?
Folks, was there a solution "in the
days of Noah," when the flood came and wiped out the whole
preflood world? The only solution at that time was for the
judgment of God to run it's course. Then what makes some
believe that "God wouldn't destroy this great nation."
Sic! He destroyed all the nations and peoples on the earth
some 4,000 plus years ago, saving only righteous Noah and his
family in order to preserve mankind and repopulate the
earth. Now we are living today in a repetition of "the
days of Noah." And how is it going to end?
The Rescue for God's People Today
The Lord God rescued Noah and his
family by using the Ark and the waters of the flood to lift them
above the surface of the earth, thereby keeping them safe from
the judgment that was taking place on the surface of the earth,
2 Peter 3:20.
Now here at the end of this repetition
of "the days of Noah," the Lord Himself is coming to rescue His
own true believers by the rapture, thereby lifting us above the
surface of the earth during the seven years of the Tribulation
judgments, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. Glory to
God! Thank you Lord Jesus!
It is highly likely that the rapture of
God's people will occur on or before the 17th day of Heshvan,
Monday, November 6th. Will you be ready?
Conclusion
Since the Lord Jesus Himself plainly
said, "as it was.....so shall it be," I surely do expect the
rapture of God's people to occur on or before the 17th day of
Heshvan, which on our Gentile calendar, will come this next
Monday, November 6th.
I am well aware that the Lord also
said, "But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the
angels of heaven, but My Father only." See also Mark
13:32. It is glaringly obvious to the careful Bible
student that this was spoken in the present tense. In
other words, it applied to the time period when the Lord spoke
it. I am not gullible enough to believe, that the Lord
went on to the cross to suffer and die, was resurrected
and glorified, and set down at His Father's right hand, and
still does not know right to this present day, when He is
returning for His people. One would have to be both
grammatically and Scripturally ignorant to believe such a
hare-brained theory. Of course the Lord knows the
time "appointed" by Father God for Him to come back to receive
His people to Himself, Acts 17:26.
Those readers who don't want to
believe this, might also read the Apostle Paul's statement to
the Lord's church again in 1 Thessalonians 5:1-6. These
Scriptures make it quite plain that the Lord's church and people
are supposed to know at least the "time frame" of the Lord's
coming again. If not, what are we to "watch" for?
Well...??
I titled this study, "Final
Thoughts....." I chose this title because I do truly
believe that my time to write and send out the great truths of
God's Word is ending. I do so hope that every reader is a
"born-again" believer, ready to meet me in Heaven when our Lord
comes to rapture us to glory.
If any reader is unsure about
their salvation, or is just plain not saved, please, please,
read the following Scriptures and ask the Lord in prayer to
grant you the GRACE to believe and act upon them.
Matthew 11:28, John 3:16-18, 5:24,
14:6, Acts 4:12, 16:30-31, Romans 10:8-13, and Ephesians
2:8-10. May our gracious God grant every reader His
GRACE is my prayer.
In the love of Christ Jesus,
