For those not up to scratch with the happenings in Zimbabwe this week... a brief summary. I have a feeling this is important as there appears to be some sort of weird connection between the two countries. Almost like an A to Z of things to come. Long time despot, Robert Mugabe has been overthrown in a military coup (which they are being careful NOT to call a coup). Be that as it may.... it is happening. After 37 long years under a brutal regime, Zimbabweans are coming up for air. They need our prayers.

In 2001, the best place to watch the total solar eclipse was Zimbabwe. That was in June 2001. 3 months later, 9/11 happened. Now, seismic changes are happening, politically. The plop has hit the fan in Zimbabwe and..... it seems, it's close to hitting the fan in America. The Zimbabwe military have used a little known internationally recognised thing called CMO - the International and Military" Code of Civil Military Operations." This is foreign to most as we have never seen it in action.... until now. Now, I quote, " It's about restoring stability in a society that has been distorted and the human rights of it's citizens have been depleted. It's a very specialised aspect of the International Military Code where the integrity of the state is perceived to be threatened or under attack.  When implemented correctly, there should never, ever be any violence or escalation of a potential threat in any country. The safety and well being of the citizens are the primary objective under any and all circumstances. They are the barometer that holds it all together."

It's the first I have ever heard of this CMO stuff. It's a little known rule that condones military intervention, wherever in the world. Under whatever pretext. I am not saying that the Zim military are making stuff up but, I also kind of am saying that. The military have ignored years of human rights abuses in Zimbabwe and have never lifted a hand to prevent it. Until Mugabe's wife threatened their political party. She wanted power and fired a big wig out of the military faction. Now - it's all action stations. What is alarming, is that this CMO can be used anywhere in the world.

Please pray for Zimbabwe. Please also pray that this terrible CMO thing will not be used in America. The military industrial complex are just waiting for the opportunity to use this. It's terrifying.
