Dear John & Doves,
Recently I came across an older item that gives spiritual awareness.
It informed Christians that some witches pray for dark spirits to inhabit the costumes people wear on Halloween.
Even today I saw a news item of a Freddy Krueger costumed attacker :((((
I come against it , in the Name of Jesus, now & continually.
I celebrate the BLOOD of JESUS prevails. I give all Glory to God/I

Today's devotional isn't really a devotional. It's more of a simple poem
to praise the Savior, Jesus Christ.

On a day that is usually devoted to witches and goblins and demons and all things evil, I thought it would be fitting to celebrate our King.

PRAISE JESUS CHRIST THE KING!
"That God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion forever and ever.Amen." --1 Peter 4:11b

No "Happy Halloween" or "Trick or Treat"
My lips today will sing, Instead the cry I choose to repeat
"PRAISE JESUS CHRIST THE KING!"

No celebration of witches and devils out of hell,
Will I in fancy costumes bring, Instead what I wear will this story tell
"PRAISE JESUS CHRIST THE KING!"

No haunted houses, no scary movies today
No screams of fright will my voice ring,Instead I choose to again to say
"PRAISE JESUS CHRIST THE KING!"

No chance of bringing any shame
To the One who took away sin's sting, Instead I will honor His Holy Name
"PRAISE JESUS CHRIST THE KING!"

No regrets that I did something wrong,
By the "harmless fun" in everything. Instead I will sing this song
"PRAISE JESUS CHRIST THE KING!"

What you do today is up to you
How you celebrate today's fling,Just remember to honor God,and
"PRAISE JESUS CHRIST THE KING!"
