"Who's work are you
doing?"
1. If you are hired to work for a company you
must first show up and then you cannot just do whatever you
would like to do. You cannot do someone elses work. You must do
the work that you were hired to do. You do not get to decide
what work needs to be done - the boss does. After getting to
know your boss you will have a clear understanding of your
schedule and the work that he expects of you. How well you do
your job will determine if you get to keep ...it or not and what
the future benefits and rewards might be.
2. When a person repents and turns their life
over to God they are now called to work for Him and to build up
His Kingdom. Once they get to KNOW the Lord they will a have
clear understanding of His ways and the work that He has
assigned for them to do. They are no longer under any obligation
to build with the wood , hay and stubble that the god of this
world (satan) offers. All these will perish and be burnt up and
all your time and labor will have been wasted using them. They
don't last. Under the direction of God Himself, those who choose
to work for Him should and can build using the gold, silver and
precious jewels that God supplies to build His Kingdom. These
will stand the test and all the time and labor invested will
produce eternal rewards in God's Kingdom - for those who choose
to do His work.
