Hello, John and Doves,
In the last week of His mortal life, Yeshua's face was set like flint for the finish line--the cross and beyond.
It's down to the last few miles for all of us in this spiritual marathon.
Some of us have finished early [Chuck Smith, for example], having run the race with endurance [blood, sweat, and tears].
Let us like set our faces like flint against the winds of adversity.
Watch the rocks, sand banks, and coral reefs!  [I love mixed metaphors!!]  May we all find our way by God's great guiding and sustaining grace into the Haven of Rest promised long ago.  [Habakkuk 2:3-4]
