A LETTER TO THE CHURCH OF AMERICA - SENT OUT TO MAJOR CHURCHES AROUND 1998
I gave you missionaries who were wholly devoted to building My Kingdom, who knew me and the power of my word to save, who left all to follow Me, live for Me and obey my command to go.
I gave you pastors from among you to care and watch over you for My sake. I instructed them to build you up, to strenghten you in your faith and to lead you along paths of righteousness to Me.
I gave you teachers who know Me and My word to instruct, correct and show you the path of life.
I gathered you together in freedom to be called out as My own. I called you The Body of Christ and placed My Son over you as, Head. Your identity to those around you was to be seen in Jesus.
I heard your prayers and answered them for I am well pleased with My Son and all those that are His.
I gave you years of peace and prosperity and allowed you time to grow in your knowledge of Me and follow Me with all of your hearts.
I extended My mercy and grace to you in abundance knowing how weak you are and how much you need Me to accomplish my will.
I gave you My presense and joy to uplift you so you would not be overwhelmed by the opposition of those who live in darkness and fulfill the will of their father.
I protected you and planted you here in this good land expecting a mighty harvest of good fruit.
I see a large beautiful tree, pleasing to the eye with many green leaves but no fruit ripe for picking.
I see your beautiful buildings, large congregations, your talented musicians and singers.
I see your many programs, outreaches and organizations.
I hear your eloquent, talented, humorous pastors, your professional musicians and singers.
I know your deeds, you do much good with the money you collect and the world applauds you.
But this I have against you
You have left your first love, stopped building His Kingdom and pursued your own loves and a kingdom here on earth.
You are no longer identified by The Head which is Jesus Christ but by the lifeless, ineffective dead body you have become.
You are an institution of man for man with no power or ability to save those around you.
Your light has gone out and you can no longer be distinguished from the darkness.
Your time has passed, the body is dead and where the carcass is the vultures gather for the spoil.
Now I will call those that are mine, who have not bowed the knee to the god of this world, to the single lights in this world, who continue to deny themselves and who's hearts are mine completely.
I say to them come - come out and separate yourselves from those who's lives deny Me. Wash your robes and prepare yourselves - for you my bride are almost ready for Him who desires you.
