Let Not Your Heart be TROUBLED!! (Jesus) NKJV (edited slightly)
The recent terrorist attacks in Paris and Lebanon, the (probable) plane bombing in Sinai, fragile economies and so many other world events, show us clearly that we are living in troubled times. We are waiting for our Redemption, the glorious Rapture. In the meantime we should look at the wonderful promises from Jesus - let not OUR HEARTS be TROUBLED!. Below are a few Scriptures to meditate on:
He is preparing a HOME IN HEAVEN for EACH of US!! John 14: 1-3
Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.
He has sent the COMFORTER to and for US!! John 14: 25-28
The Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things. 27 PEACE I leave with you, My peace I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. 28 You have heard Me say to you, ‘I am going away and coming back to you.
He Comes Supernaturally in the Storm to Help Us Matthew 14: 25-27
Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. 26 And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out for fear. 27 Immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.”
We do Not Need to be Fearful in these End Times Matthew 24: 6-7
6You will hear of wars and rumours of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.
Jesus Experienced a Troubling of His Soul for US!! Mark 14: 32-34
Then they came to a place which was named Gethsemane; and He said to His disciples, “Sit here while I pray.” 33 He took Peter, James, and John with Him, and He began to be troubled and deeply distressed. 34 Then He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and WATCH.”
(John 12: 27-28) “Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose I came to this hour. 28 Father, glorify Your name.” Then a voice came from heaven, saying, “I have both glorified it and will glorify it again.”
Jesus Rose Bodily and Victoriously!! Luke 24: 37-39
They were terrified and frightened, and supposed they had seen a spirit. 38 And He said to them, “Why are you troubled? Why do doubts arise in your hearts? 39 Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.”
