Goodbye to Gravity - Sign of the Rapture?
1 Thessalonians 4:16.17 (Amplified) For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an Archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be CAUGHT UP TOGETHER with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
Sometimes events happen that are tragic yet appear to be a warning of the times we are living in, and the imminence of the Lord’s Return, and of the Rapture! The loss of life at the Collectiv music club in Bucharest, Romania on Friday 30 October 2015 is such an event, with around 27 young people dead and dozens more injured. Following is an excerpt of the start of the CNN news article.
The Band - Goodbye to Gravity!!
Hundreds of young people were packed into a music club in central Bucharest, Romania, jamming to the head-pounding heavy metal music filling their ears. It was almost Halloween. The band, Goodbye to Gravity, was celebrating a new album with a free concert. For the young partygoers life was awesome.
But suddenly the 300 or 400 people were scrambling toward the one exit at Colectiv, a club built inside a Communist-era factory. Witnesses say pyrotechnics sparked a fire that quickly became a widespread blaze with dark, blinding smoke.
The timing is noteworthy (it was almost Halloween). Sadly Halloween has permeated into Australian society, including in the streets where I live in Canberra, Australia. However, what is of strongest interest is the name of the Band – Goodbye to Gravity!! When He ascended Jesus said goodbye to Gravity, and when we are raptured we will also say Goodbye to Gravity!! What a way of describing one aspect of the Rapture!!
This event was meant to be a launch of a new album, and what is the title: Mantras of War!! The album includes singles such as The Day We Die, Atonement and Heed the Call.
Plane Crash in Sinai
(When the law of aeronautics breaks down, for whatever reason, a plane becomes subject to the law of gravity)
Malachi 4: 4,5 (Amplified) [Earnestly] remember the law of Moses, My servant, the statutes and the ordinances which I commanded him on [Mount] Horeb [to give] to all Israel. Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and terrible day of the Lord comes.
Just as the news of the Bucharest music club tragedy had settled, news came in about a plane crash (with around 224 people on board) in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula. This is just breaking news as I write. It appears that this was a Russian plane going from a resort on the Red Sea to St Petersburg. It is interesting that Malachi 4 verse 4 refers to all that God commanded Moses on Mount Horeb, and is the verse just before the promise to send Elijah the Prophet.
Most consider Mount Sinai (Exodus) and Mount Horeb (Deuteronomy) to be different names for the same mountain where the Ten Commandments were given (but I am not an expert on this).
