The founder and leader of the Temple Mount Faithful (TMF), Gershon Solomon
died last week cut down by an assassin's bullet. Solomon had been busy over the last
50 years lobbying the Israel Government for permission to rebuild the temple. He
also raised millions of dollars to help fund the new Jewish Temple. The TMF have
also constructed hundreds of bowls, vessels and tools necessary for the
resumption
of ritual sacrifices in the proposed new Jewish Temple.
The TMF launched a plan to rebuild the
new Jewish Temple without destroying
two mosques that currently sit on top of the Temple Mount (TM). They
routinely gather together to protest a ban upon Jews praying and sacrificing upon
the TM where the Bible says Isaac offered up his only son for sacrifice.
The TMF attempts to walk up the Temple Mount each holiday
season to celebrate, pray
and sing Jewish hymns. Arabs who operate the TM and Israeli riot police always prevent
the TMF from conducting services. While leading theTMF up the Temple Mount, Gershon
Solomon was struck down by a sniper's bullet. Despite universal CTV monitoring and many
leads, police have failed to locate, or arrest a suspect.
Daily clashes between Israeli Arabs and Israeli riot police are growing in ferocity since
Operation Protective Edge left 40% of the Palestinian people homeless. These riots have
taken place on the TM after the police decided to close the TM, curfew the crowd to above
age 50 and restrict access to Christians and Jews. The Israeli military invaded the Gaza
Strip & 12,500 Palestinian men, women and children were killed, or wounded. With the
approach of winter, the Palestinian people live inside a desperate cage. The Israeli government
seems completely unaware of their plight.
There has also been a big surge in violent attacks upon Jews in the West Bank and in the
suburbs of Jerusalem. Several Israeli's have been set upon by knife
wielding assassins.
Terrorists are also using cars, trucks and construction equipment to deliberately run over
Jewish
pedestrians. Recent attacks have killed and injured dozens of Israeli's including a
3 month old baby who was killed by another brave Arab martyr. He drove a truck into an
crowd of people exiting the new light rail platform in the West Bank. A pop song featuring
vehicular homicide attacks has become the number one most requested song on radio stations
throughout the Arab world.
The Israeli government is frantically building a 16 foot tall fence sealing off the border
it shares with Egypt. In September, a terror attack in the Sinai killed 30
Egyptian soldiers
and wounded dozens more. The proximately of the desolate Egyptian Sinai Peninsula
to Israel makes it an ideal location for terrorist activity. The sparsely populated
region
next door to Israel has become a perfect safe haven and springboard for Al Qaeda and ISIS
terrorist attackers. Here they can train
and indoctrinate a new wave of recruits streaming
in from the Gaza Strip, Iraq, Libya, Lebanon and Egypt without fear of discovery. This
situation creates yet another dangerous border the Israeli military must defend.
The 'vehicular homicide' attack I mentioned earlier was carried out by an Israeli Arab who
was trained by ISIS in
