Hello, John and Doves,

 

Since this nation was born in 1776, there have been 35 Sabbath years, including 5575, the year we are in.

 

Therefore, it is entirely possible that the land now called the USA  will lie dormant for 35 years, one for each Sabbath year we have spurned.

 

When someone claims the USA as a type of Israel [which it is, by means of the presence of the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob], then the promises of God are applied to us—the blessings and the curses.  [See Leviticus 26 and elsewhere.]

 

The only cure, of course, is the blood of Jesus Christ, which cleanses from sin, and the curses that arise therefrom.

 

It is written,

          If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

2 Chronicles 7:14
