*Prepare with prayer for receptive hearts to hear, receive and experience an inspirational word through the Place Cards. Do not fear possible opposition from certain guests (remember prior prayers) and do not force anyone or treat them indifferently for not praying. Be confident in God's faithfulness to answer your prayers.
Most of all, BE GRACIOUS, as God is so amazingly gracious towards us.
*Suggest each person read the scripture on the back of their Place Card and invite them to share one thing they are thankful for.
*Put all of the read Place Cards in a hat and pick a winner. Have a small gift card to a well known coffee shop or retail store as the prize. If you forget or cannot afford this, offer a large piece of their favorite dessert to go. Or ~ if you are a craft maker, offer one of your creations. Use your imagination and make it a fun time in the process. Who knows, you may very well be starting a whole new family tradition.
