RE: Marilyn Agee (26 Oct 2014), "John Clark (19 Oct 2014) RE: BIBLICAL PROOF that there are 1260 days between the two Raptures ...????
Blessings Marilyn.
I'm a little confused about your title. I was responding to Mark C's post from October 12, "discovery of the 1335 days spoken of in Daniel 12 verse 12." I don't believe I mentioned anything about 1, 2, or three etc. raptures. You apparently have that all figured out, therefore I have no need to comment. But I would like to clear up a couple items that you mentioned concerning my post. As I'm sure you realize, the primary sign of our times is "deception." Therefore, it is extremely important that we rightly divide the word of truth. (2Ti 2:15 ). Let me give you a little explanation why I had written a couple of the things that you commented on.
Your quote: "The days in a Hebrew month do not change between Pentecost and the Feast of Trumpets in any year. The first month that can change is Cheshvan." You then list either 29 or 30 days for each month and indicate that "Cheshvan has either 29 or 30 days".
You must be using the rabbinical calendar based on a man-made 19 year cycle. As I had mentioned in my response, I had looked at the tentative calendar for 2015 on the Karaite Korner website. You must not be familiar with their work. Their name reportedly means, "Followers of Scripture". They are a group of Jewish believers (not believers in Yeshua), who have been strictly following the Torah for centuries. Frequently, other members of Doves will post the "New Moon Sightings," from this group every month, along with their yearly report on the ripening of the barley which determines the first month of each year. They are actually following "God's Calendar," as stipulated in the Scriptures. The beginning of each month is determined by two witnesses observing the first sliver of light from the new moon. And that sighting can vary by a couple of days each month. Here's an excerpt from their site:
"The Biblical month begins with the crescent New Moon, also called First Visible Sliver. The Hebrew word for month (Hodesh) literally means New Moon and only by extension the period between one New Moon and the next." .....
"At the end of the lunar month the moon is close to the sun 1 and eventually reaches the point of "conjunction" when it passes between the Sun and the Earth.2 As a result, around the time of conjunction very little of the moon's illuminated surface faces the Earth and it is not visible through the infinitely brighter glare of the sun. After the moon moves past the sun it continues towards the opposite side of the Earth. As it gets farther away from the sun the percentage of its illuminated surface facing the Earth increases and one evening shortly after sunset the moon is seen anew after being invisible for 1.5-3.5 days. Because the moon is seen anew after a period of invisibility the ancients called it a "New Moon" or "Hodesh" (from Hadash meaning "new"). "

Therefore, there is always a possibility of a two day variation in the length between two new moon sightings. The Scriptures routinely require at least two witnesses to establish a fact. If they are unable to see the moon due to clouds, dust storms or even the smoke of war, the length of the month may be altered also. Likewise, they must witness the proper level of ripening of the barley crop at the time of the first sliver of light of the new moon, before they can declare the start of a new year (first month). This may end up adding an extra month to the year, and also affects the other feast days such as Pentecost.
Deu 19:15 'One witness doth not rise against a man for any iniquity, and for any sin, in any sin which he sinneth; by the mouth of two witnesses, or by the mouth of three witnesses, is a thing established.
And the Father has many ways that he can alter His Calendar.
Jos 10:13 And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.
Mar 13:24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
Psa 104:19 He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.
You are correct in that the number of days between Pentecost and the feast of trumpets do not change on the man-made calendar according to "traditions of men." But when you use God's Calendar, you have to rely upon His leading, humble yourselves and observe in faith.

Your quote: "THE WHOLE 2300-DAY TRIBULATION"
There is only one mention of 2300 in all of Scripture (including the King James). And that is Daniel 8:14. If it is only mentioned once, it makes it quite difficult to get "two witnesses"for any type of theory here. And if you are rightly dividing the word of God, you'll discover that the word "day" is not in verse 14 of Daniel chapter 8. The word "day," is found in other parts of the book Daniel, approximately 20 times. But Daniel 8:14 does not state 2300 days. It does state 2300 evenings (`ereb ) and mornings (boqer ). The word "day" in Hebrew is "Strong's H3117" - yowm.
Dan 8:14 And he saith unto me, Till evening -- morning two thousand and three hundred, then is the holy place declared right.
Now the first use of the word "day" is found in Genesis 1:5. (The word yowm is used for both "days.")
Gen 1:5 and God calleth to the light 'Day,' and to the darkness He hath called 'Night;' and there is an evening, and there is a morning -- day one.
So here you have God calling both "light," and "evening /morning," as the word day. Now I am not a Hebrew scholar, and it would be great to have Jovial's input, but I can see that you can easily argue that Daniel 8:14 could be saying that there are 2300 evenings and 2300 mornings; or there are only 2300 total things that are known as evenings and mornings.
So you need to know what are the evenings/mornings. In the Hebrew it is the "continual. "There are many things in the Scripture relating to the Temple worship that are called the continual. But only two of them might be referred to as the evening and morning. Now the word "sacrifice," is appropriately italicized to indicate that it is not in the original text. But the two things that were to be continued both in the evening and morning were the sacrifices on the altars. The blood sacrifice was on the altar that was not in the sanctuary. Daniel eight is talking about activity in the sanctuary just like Revelation 11:2. Therefore, Daniel is speaking about the altar of incense and the sacrifice of prayer and praise that is performed each evening and morning. There is a lot of activity at the altar of incense before God the Father in the book of Revelation also. Daniel 8:14 is talking about 2300 of these offerings, which would be 1150 consecutive days.
We also need to be consistent. In Daniel chapter 12:11 – 12, Daniel mentions two other time periods. The desolating abomination would give out in 1290 days. And blessings will be to those who have earnestly waited 1335 days. Both of these Scriptures do contain the Hebrew word for day (yowm). Daniel is being very consistent by accurately indicating that the time periods are in day increments in chapter 12 (two witnesses), and leaving out the "day" increment when speaking of the 2300 "sacrifices" at the altar of incense inside the sanctuary.
1Pe 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2Th 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
2Pe 2:9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
