Dear friends:

I have two big rants today.  Please bear with me.

1.       TV drug commercials.  They are incessant, as the big pharmaceutical companies (Big Pharma) try to get everyone hooked on their questionable potions with numerous  and sometimes fatal side effects.

These drug commercials are matched only by the commercials by law firms trying to get you to sue those same drug companies for poisoning their customers.  Is that ironic, or what?  We are a drugged society.

 

2.       LGBTQ Studies,  I have in my possession the official magazine of a major American university.  A feature article is titled, “LGBTQ Studies Program reaches beyond the college.”  The article says, “The University of _____ has a perfect academic life for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) students…”

Notice the “Q word.”  I did not know that word is now acceptable, although I have used it for years.  Now it is okay for everyone I guess.

This is an example of how perverted our world has become.  Sad.  Further evidence that Jesus is coming soon.
