"Secret to answered prayer"
In the Bible, the Book of John gives us several clues as to getting our prayers answered.
John 14: 13-14 says - " whatever you will ask in my
name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If
you will ask anything in my name, I will do it " . The clue in this
verse is that whatever your prayer is, it has to bring glory to God
John 15: 7-8 says - if you remain in me , and my
words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be
done for you. In this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit "
. The clue in this verse is that your prayer request must bring glory
to God and bear much eternal fruit
John 15: 16-17 says - you didn't choose me, but I
chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and
that your fruit should remain, that whatever you will ask of the Father
in my name, He may give it to you " Again in this verse we are told very
clearly that God will answer our prayer requests if they are connected
to bearing eternal fruit
These scripture verses tell us that God wants to
answer our prayers, and one sure way to see that happen is if our prayer
requests bring glory to God and bear eternal fruit. Serving God thru
using our spiritual gifts and talents lines up perfectly with these
scripture verses. What is it that God has called you to do for Him ?
What mission / assignment has He given you in your earthly life that
will bring eternal glory to His heavenly Kingdom ? Fulfilling what God
has called you to do will ensure answered prayer requests
The old saying - where God guides, He provides is
still true today. Where-ever and whatever He is calling you to do
for Him, He will answer your prayers so you will be successful in the
assignment He has called you to do . So make December 2014 your time to
answer God's calling over your life. Ask Him what He wants you to do for
Him, and He will answer. Then step out in faith and tell your Lord, "
Here I Am, Send Me " !!!
have a blessed day, Gary
