QUESTION ASKED......ANSWER GIVEN ?

On a Nov. 15  Post JIM  M.  requested clarification of my Post of
Nov. 12/13  Subj:  OLD/NEW  COVENANT.  I Emailed my explanation
to Him and He replied that He now understood my inference in my Post
concerning the HOLY SPIRIT and my "Statement" about the VOICE
of the HOLY SPIRIT as it pertains to our (my) relationship with HIM.
        I am Posting my answer (below) to Jim in hopes that it may explain
to others,that may have had the same question, but did not ask but were
also in doubt of my meaning.  Jim wrote that He now understood and was
in agreement.  So with that endorsement.......here is my answer to Jim.




Jim,

First let me Thank you for responding to the "post" Old/New.  I was
hoping it would provoke some thought concerning the HOLY  SPIRIT
and how HE relates to us and us to HIM. I must make a qualifying
statement which I am VERY reluctant to say as it has, in the past, been
met with skepticism, if not outright hostility, and that is that I  have had
a SPEAKING relationship with the HOLY SPIRIT for over fifty years.
I do not, however, want to make this in any way about me.  I know how
difficult it is to establish credibility without a testimony and life story
which I don't feel called upon in this instance to give but would ask of you
 the benefit of the doubt that I am REAL in this, as is HE.  I will state
again that in all my years with HIM and all the conversations we have
had, HE has NEVER "quoted" anything written in the Old Testament.
(Or the New for that matter).  Apparently HE doesn't feel the need to
remind me of the "written WORD" when HE, HIMSELF is the WORD.
Does this make sense to you?  I guess it would be like becoming BEST
FRIENDS with a College Professor you had in school that had written
the Text for the class and you had read it through 4 or 5 times and
you now "hang-out" with him , in fact he has "moved in" with you and has
become the LEADING MEMBER of your household. The H.S. now makes
ALL the decisions!  Given my "nature" that was a HUGE thing for me
to surrender to HIM.  Glad I did!  HE is wonderful to me and mine
beyond description.  What can I say,  I LOVE HIM and HE LOVES ME.
As an aside, I will tell you HE  has the most wonderful, wise, and witty
sense of humor.  HE is so FAST!  I Have actually burst out laughing,
some times to stomach cramps!!  Does that seem irreverent to you?
If it does, I'm sorry but it's true. My deepest wish is that ALL could come
to know HIM to this (their own) degree.  Absolute JOY !  And even more
importantly CONFIDENCE.  It is my relationship with HIM that keeps me
"harping", on my "posts",  to come to HEAR HIS VOICE .  HE is truly
ALL any of us need.  HE is the complete package. We need nothing else.
       I don't know if any of this answers your question but I hope it gives
you a sense of where I'm coming from when I reference the HOLY SPIRIT.
HE is a NOW person.  Walking, talking, LOVING guide and BEST FRIEND.
And YES!  I  WISH HIM upon YOU,  if you do not yet HAVE and HEAR....HIM.
