OLD  COVENANT /  NEW  COVENANT


         When CHRIST came onto our World HE COMPLETELY changed
how MANKIND could and should relate to GOD.  True? As we read the
Old Testament,  we see that people were given instructions and rituals
that they were to follow in their Worship and Relationship with GOD.
When CHRIST came into the picture HE changed that. ( didn't require
the sacrifice of lambs as HE was THE LAMB )  Also the HOLY SPIRIT
wasn't given to MAN before CHRIST'S  sacrifice and ascension, which
enabled the H.S. to appear and BECOME MAN'S teacher and guide.
The HOLY SPIRIT was/is  given( to those that came into a relationship
with CHRIST) to end  man's traditions and rules that invariably develop
among the so called "religious scholars".  The HOLY SPIRIT was (and is)
then available to ALL who would come to KNOW CHRIST, so they
wouldn't have to rely on the "scholar's" interpretations which invariably
lead to EGOTISTIC ERRORS.  The TEMPLE became ALIVE.
        So many so called BIBLE SCHOLARS love to QUOTE Old
Testament scripture and try to apply it to New Testament circumstances
and sometimes it works and some times it doesn't depending on how
"they" interpret  the meaning.  I have NEVER heard the HOLY SPIRIT
quote anything written in the Old Testament, EVER!  NEVER EVER !
         Here's a question I've often thought, " if we are warned about changing
a jot or tittle, why are there so many DIFFERENT BIBLES with varying
interpretations?"  Among today's Church we find many different Bible
adherents, some to the King James,  some to the NIV and etc.  when
looking to the SEPTUAGINT, errors emerge in (dare I say all) the
many "Bibles" available to us today. Which one do YOU  CHOSE?
Most people use the one that their Church uses and let it go at that.  Others
do a little research and then "pick" one.  We have, today, the Internet,
which exposes us to Biblical Scholars worldwide which gives us even more
choices than people had in the past.  Has that changed anything? Does
MAN now have a better understanding of the WORD because of exposure
and technology???  It's a "Trick Question" !   Because if you RELY on
your RELATIONSHIP with the HOLY SPIRIT and what HE SAYS to you,
you wouldn't be troubled by all of MAN'S rendering of HIS WORD.
You have the HOLY SPIRIT TO TEACH YOU and need NO OTHER!
         The ENTIRE NEW TESTAMENT, if taken in it's entirety, ultimately
leads to the HOLY SPIRIT who is CHRIST on EARTH for HIS SHEEP

P.S.   I am loathe to use myself as an example for anything, but in this
            one instance my personal journey could apply.  I read the Bible
             through 4 times,  re-connected with the HS and now walk with
             and TALK with HIM....HE is my BEST FRIEND!
