Hi:
I have Ernest Martin's books. They were given to me by a mutual friend. I like reading them, because he did a tremendous amount of research. But, as any human, he was not always right. His big mistakes were his location of the Temple over the Gihon Spring and his date for the birth of Jesus. (I think he was born on the Feast of Trumpets, Sept. 4, 5 BC.)
The aqueduct that brought the Temple water from the Ain Etiam Spring by way of the Pools of Solomon near Bethlehem to the Temple Mount entered the Mount just north of the Wailing Wall, and immediately turned southeast toward the Al Kas Fountain and the cisterns. A 100 ft. siphon was built into the sealed aqueduct in a valley along the way to keep the water flow constant.
The constantly flowing water cascaded downhill through several cisterns. This was the water purification system for the Temple, which was built over the Al Kas Fountain area, between the Dome of the Rock and the Al Aqsa Mosque.
The Gihon Spring is a Karst Spring. It is a on-again off-again spring. It starts and stops. Underground, a cave has to fill with water up to a ceiling, then it runs. When the underground area water level goes down enough, it stops. That spring could never have satisfied the needs of the Temple Mount. Access to it was also too deep in the ground too. They had to build stairs to get down to where they could draw water up in a bucket.
The water in the Pool of Bethesda was stirred when the Gihon Spring started to pump water.

I am looking up. I am so glad that I will get to be with my husband forever, I can hardly wait. Thank you Lord for allowing him to visit me and answer a few questions before walking through the wall, in Jesus' name, Amen.
Ed looked great, said he was 33. He was 87 when he died. He had visited his family and my family. They are all awake in Heaven. He even has a piano.
I am hoping for the First-Trump Rapture on Nov. 28, 13. It will be Hannukah, Thanksgiving, and the day the comet ISON (I SON) will be nearest the SUN. Someone said that Hannukah and Thanksgiving were on the same day in 1888, and would not be on the same day again for 79,043 years.
Also, there will be a rare Solar Hybrid Eclipse on Nov. 3, the Eve of Kislev 1, also when daylight saving time ends. A hybrid eclipse (also called annular/total) shifts between annular and total at different points on Earth. The next hybrid solar eclipse will be on April 9, 2043.
Mal_4:2 says, "But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun (shemesh, sun, rising) of righteousness arise (zarach, arise, rise up) with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth (yatsa, bring forth, out, up, carry out...DEPARTING, DEPARTURE, ESCAPE), and grow up as calves of the stall."
If not Nov. 28, maybe Dec. 27. I SON will be closest to Earth that day. My husband Ed died on Dec. 27. That may not mean anything to any one but me, but since our son David was born on April 6, Crucifixion Day, it could tie in. Other things in our lives seem to have been preplanned. The next non-central total solar eclipse will be on April 9, 2043.
Earth will go through the debris trail of ISON mid January. I hope we are in Heaven by that time.
Agape,

"The true location of the Jewish Temple"
Hi John and Doves,
This topic has probably been discussed here before, however I just saw the documentary by Ken Klein "Jerusalem and the lost temple of the Jews"
http://superstore.wnd.com/video/Jerusalem-and-the-lost-temple-of-the-Jews-DVD
This is a must watch and will change your view of this issue, unless you are already aware of this. The making of this documentary was inspired by the late Dr. Ernest Martin, In his book The Temples That Jerusalem forgot.
Here is a link to a website that has a similar description of what was presented in the film.

The clincher for me which was brought up in the film, (I can't believe I looked over this before), is the fact that Jesus said not one stone would be left on top of another after the destruction... We are all aware of the veracity of the words of Our Lord, so how could the western wall or any part of what is called the temple mount structure today be part of the original temple?... Because we know not one stone was left upon another after the destruction!
The film provides a treasure trove of info that I had never come across before...
I highly encourage anyone else who believes as I did that what we now call the Temple Mount to be the location of the old Jewish temple to watch the movie, ponder this, and enjoy...
I believe in the doctrine of eminence, and there are no preconditions keeping The Lord from grabbing us tonight, or any day now, so keep looking up for our salvation draws nigh!
