Dear Doves,I know, personally, from this week-end's rush to the hospital for my husband's obvious heart attack, that we have someone who loves us so much that He doesn't just do a work in us alone but manages in His Divine wisdom to do a work in the many lives that touch ours. This may not make much sense since it is personal but there were broken hearts healed this week-end, family relationships of stubborn rebellion mended.
After the many tests done for such an attack, the scans showed no heart damage, all pain left him and I was able to bring him home the following day. I do not take any of this lightly, appreciate all the prayers sent up on our behalf.
In trying to sort all of what transpired this past weekend, a daily Bible posting entitled "Self-Examination" seemed to speak to me of how unrepented sin and a desire to hang on to wrongs only causes more heart-ache. It is like a pebble thrown in the water; it spreads out and out: God only knows the bad that comes from that first stone thrown .
For me and my family, there was a physical miracle and spiritual miracle done by the Great Surgeon Above.
Prayers were answered in ways I never dreamed possible and I thank each and everyone of you who prayed on behalf of my husband and me.
