Comet UN-ISON - United Nations (UN) ISON
Isaiah 41:25 (Amplified) I have raised up and impelled to action one from the north [Cyrus], and he comes; from the rising of the sun he calls upon My name. He shall tread upon rulers and deputies as upon mortar and as the potter treads clay. [He comes with the suddenness of a COMET, but none of the idol oracles of the nations has anticipated it.]
Much has been written about Comet ISON and rightly so. I have very much appreciated the opportunity to peruse and absorb this information, and the many insights. I would like to highlight the amazing timing: Comet ISON will come to periheLION (closest approach to the Sun) on 28 November 2013. This is, almost to the day, 66 years from the UN Resolution to establish the State of Israel on 29 November 1947, and one year from the UN Resolution to elevate Palestine to observer status in the UN on 29 November 2012.

Will the UN(ISON) of Nations Divide Israel and Jerusalem in the Near Future?
The short answer to this is (almost certainly) YES! In Joel 3: 2-3 we read: 2 I will gather ALL NATIONS and will bring them down into the Valley of Jehoshaphat, and there will I execute judgment upon them for [their treatment of] My people and of My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations and [because] they:
HAVE DIVIDED MY LAND. And they HAVE CAST LOTS for My people.
So where could this all head? It seems likely that the current unrest in the Middle East will escalate, possibly fuelled by Iran’s direct or indirect involvement (through Syria and Hezbollah in Lebanon). Israel may suffer collateral damage in this conflict. The nations of the Earth may then, in UN-ISON and through the UN, seek to achieve a Palestinian State. The conflict could be a catalyst for this UNification of nations on the Palestinian issue.
The November 2012 Resolution to elevate Palestine to Non-member observer status was only opposed by nine countries (Canada, US, Czech Republic, Israel and some small nations). There were 138 nations in favour and 41 abstentions. Some countries such as the US are in favour of a two State solution - it would not take much to shift the balance to almost UNanimous support to divide Israel/Jerusalem. Sadly, it is likely that many Churches, deceived by Replacement Theology, will also support this division of Israel. There are three summary points worth noting:
A.The timing of Comet ISON’s periheLION on a date (the day before) that has dual Israel/UN significance (29 November 1947/2012) is REMARKABLE!
B.29 November 2013 will mark 66 years since the 1947 Resolution that led to Israel’s nationhood. Just four years to completion of a 70 year cycle.
C.We should also remember the role of the Non Aligned Movement (NAM), currently chaired by Iran! The next meeting the NAM is in Venezuela in 2015. The link to a previous letter of mine explains more about this.

Will Israel’s Very Existence Become Vulnerable? Psalm 83/Isaiah 17
Division of the land of Israel will lead, not to a lasting two State peace, but rather formation of a strategy to wipe Israel off the map. Before looking at Psalm 83, Psalm 2: 1-3 prophesies about the nations of the Earth - in UNISON - gathered together to thwart God’’s Eternal Plans for Israel and the Anointed One, the Messiah! Sounds just like a meeting of the United Nations, prophesied so long ago!!
Psalm 2: 1-3 Why do the nations assemble with commotion [uproar and confusion of voices], and why do the people imagine (meditate upon and devise) an empty scheme? 2 The kings of the earth take their places; the rulers take counsel together against the Lord and His Anointed One (the Messiah, the Christ). They say, 3 Let us break Their bands [of restraint] asunder and cast Their cords [of control] from us.
The Tetrads in 2014 and 2015 are clear and strong confirmations that there will be a monumental battle for Israel, at least in these two years. Psalm 83 starts with: 1 Keep not silence, O God; hold not Your peace or be still, O God. Then it prophesies of a time when the nations surrounding Israel will seek to wipe Israel off the map. These nations will stop fighting within themselves, and turn their focus on a united, all out, attack on Israel! While most nations of the Earth will not be directly involved, they are likely to be apathetic towards Israel’s safety, and many Christians will be apathetic too.
Psalm 83: 2 For, behold, Your enemies are in tumult, and those who hate You have raised their heads. 3 They lay crafty schemes against Your people and consult together against Your hidden and precious ones. 4 They have said,
COME AND LET US WIPE THEM OUT AS A NATION; LET THE NAME OF ISRAEL BE IN REMEMBRANCE NO MORE. 12 Who say, Let us take possession for ourselves of the pastures of God.
I believe that both Psalm 83 and Isaiah 17 point to a great Israeli victory - the seventh day of the previous six day war in June 1967. Nations will be judged on how they have treated Israel, especially their support for dividing Israel/Jerusalem. The Rapture could take place at any time, and may coincide somehow with this Psalm 83 war. Judgment on the United States, amongst other nations, appears to be prophesied in Psalm 83. Verse 15 in the Amplified refers to Your Tornado or Hurricane - storm/cyclonic names most associated with the United States.
13 O my God, make them like whirling dust, like stubble or chaff before the wind! 14 As fire consumes the forest, and as the flame sets the mountains ablaze. 15 So pursue and afflict them with:
Your tempest and terrify them with YOUR TORNADO OR HURRICANE.
In conclusion, we may not yet know how bright Comet (UN) ISON will become, but those who are wise and watching for the Lord’s Return will observe and know that God directs the path of comets, and Comet ISON is clearly a wake up call, a sign of the imminent return of the Lord and the Rapture!! The link to the United Nations is just one more sign in amongst a growing suite of heavenly signposts!!

The UN Vote on Palestinian Status and Australia
Excerpts from previous letter - Five Doves 29 November 2012
On 29 November 1947 Australia, given the alphabetical nature of its name, was the first nation to vote for the establishment of an Israeli State. Australia has maintained strong support for Israel throughout the years, and God’s hand of blessing has been (richly) on this nation. Consequently, it is of concern that Australia decided to abstain from the vote on the status of Palestine 65 years later on 29 November 2012 (rather than vote against it).
It is interesting that one of the arguments put forward for this stance is the fear of being on the wrong side of history! Yet there is little concern for being on the wrong side of God’s blessing and judgment, and almost no consideration of what God’s Word says, especially His eternal (land) covenants with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
It is of interest that the United Kingdom abstained from the vote for Israel on 29 November 1947. For those Doves who may be interested in the 1947 vote by nation, Wikipedia provides this information (link below - scroll down to Final vote).

It is a miracle of international political history that the 1947 Israel resolution achieved the two-thirds majority of the valid votes, not counting abstaining and absent members, of the UN's then 56 member states. The partition plan was never fully implemented. On 11 December 1947 Britain announced the Mandate would end at midnight 14 May 1948 and its sole task would be to complete withdrawal by 1 August 1948.
A New Accountability of Nations - for their (past and future) Treatment of Israel!
Joel 3: 1-3 (Amplified) For behold, in those days and at that time when I shall reverse the captivity and restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, 2 I will gather all nations and will bring them down into the Valley of Jehoshaphat, and there will I execute judgment upon them for [their treatment of] My people and of My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations and [because] they HAVE divided My land. And they have cast lots for My people. , and have given a boy for a harlot and have sold a girl for juice [of the grape] and have drunk it.
The impending UN vote on the status of PALEstine is a marker (fork) in the road for the nations of the Earth. We know from Joel 3:2 that the land of Israel will be divided, as the term HAVE DIVIDED is in the past tense. The current UN vote on status gives nations an opportunity to formalise their treatment of Israel in the preeminent international forum of the United Nations. It is certainly worth watching how nations vote, although it should be borne in mind that some nations who vote no or abstain still support a two State solution (Israel and Palestine) in the Middle East.
Decisions taken by nations in the near future will make them accountable to the Living God for: their treatment of Israeli people and God’s heritage Israel, the scattering of Israel across the nations, dividing the land of Israel and casting lots for Israel! God’s judgments will fall on nations as they move down the road to dividing Israel!
