"Liza Taylor"
Greetings John and Doves,
Hi Liza, I really enjoyed your post today. I do agree
that there is enough leeway in the Hebrew to justify the translation. I
would like some help in one area of your post though. You said:
" If so, Joel 2:32 is a confirmation of a Pre-tribulation Rapture."
From what I can see it does show the Church will not go through God's
Judgement as you put it, and will escape it and I believe this also.
What we need to be careful of is the terminology we use. The way I
understand it is the escape of the Great and Terrible Day of The Lord is
The Rapture before The Wrath of God is poured out. The way I see it is
The Wrath of God happens during The Great and Terrible day and we are
raptured out of here first, and The Great and Terrible Day lasts
anywhere from 5 months to about 18 months and this is during the Great
Tribulation ( not to be confused with the Tribulation ). The whole
Tribulation is two 1260 day periods and the second one or last one is
the Great Tribulation. So the way I see it and please correct me if I'm
in error, because I just want the Truth and will even change my own
beliefs if it's for a Truth that I might not have understood previously.
1Th 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
I believe Revelation 6:17 shows when the Wrath starts.
Rev 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
This is why I believe in a pre-wrath rapture and not a pre tribulation and especially the first half.
