At my mom's in Florida for Thanksgiving and channel surfing...Prophecy in the News, the show, is on--I had no idea that they actually have a television show. At least I don't get it in Minnesota. They are discussing Chuck Missler's bible code book called "Cosmic Codes". There really are amazing codes in the Bible and it's just a reminder about how intricate and awesome scripture is. For those who don't know, Yeshua (Jesus) is encoded in every book of the Old Testament. During the show, they gave a few examples where it's encoded. When I say encoded, I'm referring to ELS or equidistant letter sequencing, which really wasn't possible to study thoroughly without computers. There are basically messages encoded at an equal number of letters apart. "Yeshua is the Messiah" could be a message that is encoded in scripture every 30 letters apart. The first example given on the show was:

 

Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell? Proverbs 30:4

 

In the above verse from the Old Testament, His name is Yeshua is encoded--interesting that it mentions "his son's name". Another example that they gave is the following:

 

And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. Zechariah 12:10
