"Nazarite"
Hi John,
Some time back I read an article about what the term nazarite
actually means.
It has to do with the trees in the Middle East( cypress or
olive, I do not remember) anyway, the roots travel quite a
distance from the tree. New trees will spring up unexpectedly
from these roots sometimes very far from the actual parent tree.
Sometimes this new tree will spring up even years after the
parent tree has died.
The people of Nazareth were descendants of King David. Hence the
name Nazareth. So any King who springs up from this branch of
David far from Bethlehem or Jerusalem would be a nazarite. I
hope this helps the conversation.
