"For Lou Ann"
Dear Lou Ann,
You have my prayers over your situation. Although you did
not give details, I was struck by what you wrote. I said
basically the same thing in my letter to I Cor 10:31 about a
neighbor of ours....your quote: "someone dear to me who has
turned against me for no reason".
If the devil cannot get to us directly, he will use the weakest
link in the chain of people we know and love. He will use
THAT person to work evil against us, in order to hurt us.
Any friend who would hurt you for no reason was never a 'friend'
to begin with, we only couldn't 'see' it for a time. Sit
at the feet of Lord Jesus and ask Him for the truth in all
things and peace. He *will* give it to you.
Please put any thoughts of ending your life over this, out of
your head. Do not let the devil win. We cannot
change the evil people do, but we can change our reaction to
it. You also need to stick around for your mother who has
cancer. How much worse would she feel if you left her like
that?
We need to get evil out of our homes and lives. If that
means getting this "dear friend" out of your life, so be
it. Friends don't make other friends feel like this.
You and your mother have my prayers, as well as all my fellow
Christians experiencing these attacks from the devil.
May God grant you eyes to see, ears to hear, courage and peace.
Your sister in Christ,
Patty RP
