Dear Kari,  Thank you for that wonderful study (Nov 20, Additional info regarding 12/21/12 tie in with pagan beliefs and Christmas) into the winter solstice and how it plays into all cultures.  It made me think how those 3 days when the sun makes it's annual descent southward could represent the 3 days of darkness spoken of in the Scriptures.  This would make perfect sense as to the timing of the beginning of the Great Tribulation. It is also so very interesting that this month we see two major signs in the heavens.  The sun is darkened by the solar eclipse we just had, and the moon will not give her light at the upcoming lunar eclipse later this month. Definitely signs in the moon, sun and stars are happening all over the place!! It is all so thrilling and each new piece of the puzzle shines light on the whole of what is happening.  Thanks again for the great insight.
