What happened?

Obama received 6 million LESS votes in 2012 than he did in 2008. Yet he still won. Romney received 1 million less votes than John McCain received in 2008. More people voted for McCain than they did Romney.

 

Gay marriage approved in 3 states

Receational "pot" aprroved in 2 states.

The true Christians are outnumbered in America, or so it seems.I have seen website blogs telling the "right wing" to give up and accept the fact that gay marriage is going widespread across this country and soon.

 

Has our country past the point of no return? Our "organized church" has failed to get the true message out and has therefore turned many away from salvation.Yes, I am not blaming the non-believers but it is our (believers) fault. The "organized church" has become a social event where people get together and eat and have fun. Not many can even tell a person how to be saved. Most think that going to church and being bapitzed will get them the free pass to heaven.It is no wonder this country is in a mess.

 

Why am I writing this? So you can know the answer to what is happening in our country. So you can know how to spend eternity in a place that you will be working for the Son of God. So you will have no excuse when the time comes. You have been warned.To make it clear, here is what the Bible says you must do to be saved.

 

Ephesians 1

¹³ In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

 

What is the gospel for us today?

 

1 Corinthians 15

1Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;² By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.³ For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;⁴ And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

 

Do you see anything about tithing or water baptism or attending church and stop your drinking in the above Gospel which is made simple for us today. If you see water baptism or tithing in the Bible, that was written for a different time period not for us today. However our time period is coming to a close and it looks like it could be pretty quickly. So just in case you have been "duped" into thinking you are going to heaven when you die because you are "good enough" you have now been warned. You can never be "good enough". The price has already been paid in full by the Almighty God we serve. He gave his Son to take our place. Please do not think that you can "help" God in any way.

 

Now why did I put this above explanation in this. Because everyone has an opinion. The above is not an opinion. It is what the Bible says. It says in more than 100 places this simple Gospel. If you think there are places in the Bible that says you must work to be saved or be "good enough" then you have placed that information in the wrong time period. God does not change and he is the same in past, present, and future. But he does and has changed in how he deals with different generations and time periods. If you do not believe that then you must build an ark because that is what Noah was required to do. Or maybe you should get circumsied if you are a male because that is what Jews under the law had to do.

 

Now my point is this. The organized church today has mishandled the easiest Gospel there is to explain to someone. This is why there is so much confusion. If you tell someone to repent and quit "drinking" and believe in Jesus to be saved then you are "making up" your own Gospel to tell them. That Gospel will not save someone or change someone. WHY? Because until a person believes that Jesus did it all through his death burial and resurrection than that person has never received the Holy Spirit. Yes this is true. Read the verses above that explain the simple Gospel. So the churches today have confused many many people and families and have therefore turned them away from salvation by adding things to the Gospel for today. This is why our country is in such poor shape. We have so many people who think they are Christians when they have really mis- understood this simple Gospel and therefore not allowed the Holy Spirit to enter in. Once the Holy Spirit enters in he is there to stay. He will help the people get the "correct" belief system in place. He will teach a person that homosexuallity and murder(abortion) are wrong and do not have a place in our society. And listen to this, if a person acceptes the FREE GIFT and still ignores what the Holy Spirit is teaching him he will NOT lose the salvation that God has promised him. So the church today needs to quit trying to do the job of the Holy Spirit and let the Holy Spirit do it. THEN and only then will we see a change in our society. But it may be too late because there is something called the rapture that is going to take place some day in the near future. You will want to be a part of that.

 

This is the very reason we have lost our way in this country. We can quit blaming the non believers and start blaming ourselves for not getting the correct Gospel to the people.
