"response to Arlene
about Good News"
Hi Arelene
I have always wondered about someone going to hell. Even without
going through the Hebrew and Greek a general reading of the
scriptures no doubt let's us know there is a hell and that a lot
of people are going to end up there. Who are we to question the
Creator. I wish there was no hell. And i do not mean you
personally when I ask" who are we", I mean any of us.
But the Good News is that God gave us a FREE GIFT to avoid that
place of torment. I do not know how God will let a person KNOW
the decision that person needs to make to avoid hell. So many
people always ask me how the people in third world countries
hear about Jesus. Has everyone heard the simple message of
salvation for today? Probably not, but I know that God is fair
and just and that in some way each person has that decision made
known to him by God on where he/she will spend eternity. I
decided a long time ago that I could not worry about the entire
world. That is what God does.We have enough "church goers" being
fooled that need to hear the plain and simple Gospel of Grace
right here in our communties. Satan has gotten in to the
churches and taught a lie about being "good enough" to obtain
salvation.
The people who go to the Hebrew and Greek are just trying to
justify their beliefs. Just because someone thinks he is smarter
than God or than anyone else does not make it so.The Bible is
pretty clear on everything. He has given every single person a
chance to live in heaven for eternity. Each person must decide
wheter he/she will accept that FREE GIFT.
Ephesians 1
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of
truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye
believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
A person hears the gospel, believes it and are sealed with the
Holy Spirit.
And here is the Gospel
1 Corinthians 15
1Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I
preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye
stand2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I
preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.3 For I
delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how
that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;4 And
that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day
according to the scriptures:
So the Apostle Paul tells us a person hears and if he believes
then he is saved. The Gospel a person must hear, believe, and be
saved is that Christ died and was buried and rose on the third
day.
Pretty easy Gospel. Why so easy? Because God loves us so much
that he wants as many saved that is possible. It is not possible
for man to save himself or to keep himself saved. He has given
us a time period where we do not have to prove our faith. That
time period is coming to a close. After the rapture happens it
will be much more painful to be saved. That does not mean people
will not be saved after the rapture as I believe there will be
too many to count being saved during the tribulation which is
after the rapture. Satan wants people in hell with him just as
much as God wants them in heaven. Satan has twisted the simple
Gospel of Grace and turned it into a contest to see who can
study the Greek and Hebrew and explain why they do not accept
God's Word as given to us in the english language.Even the ones
who think they are so smart will get different interpretation
from the Greek and Hebrew as their collegues do.
Anyway, I know that everyone on five doves web-site has heard
the plain teachings of scripture. I hope they are all saved by
accepting this simple Gospel of Grace. It is the ONLY way to be
saved today.
thanks
