Steve, you must have listened to the very same broadcast that I did, where Steve Quayle was so hotly condemning the rapture.  Well, I am right now listening to Rick Wiles' daily broadcast from last evening, and as much as I love Rick, he went on a tirade of blasting anyone that claims there will be a "secret rapture"......he mentions Hal Lindsey and his secret rapture friends...........and says very mockingly, it's "just a fairytale"!  Just like the post by K.S. says, there will be scoffers and mockers in the last days.  I guess I just didn't think that the loudest ones would be other believers.  I think I am going to have to find other prophecy programs to listen to.  It hurts me when I hear Christian brothers and sisters mocking those of us who still trust in our blessed hope.

p.s.  You are so right about those who condemn the pre-trib rapture always trying to sell their "survival gear".........and Steve Quayle is always trying to sell his precious metals too!
