“There are a number of people who have clearly shown why they believe that Obama is the antichrist. The antichrist is prophesied to come, and people won’t be able to stop him from coming, by bullets or ballots. I don’t understand the paradox of on one hand believing that Obama is the antichrist, while on the other hand trying to convince people to vote him out of office to stop him.
Gino”
This is my very first letter to the doves, although I have been lurking for quite some time. Thank you, Mr. Tng, for this website. I appreciate the differing viewpoints and the wealth of information available here.
Now, my reply to Gino…
Gino, to me, this is not a paradox at all. At this EXACT point in time, Obama is not THE Antichrist…although he certainly is AN antichrist. He has not yet been empowered. So we still have an OPPORTUNITY to stop him, or at least to stop him from rising to power under America’s “watch” as it were. Yes, if he is the true Antichrist, he will either win the US election or be appointed to some high office in the future, such as the head of the UN, for example. Personally, I would prefer, if he is THE Antichrist, that he not be empowered while holding the title of POTUS. Of course, that is just my national pride speaking…
In closing, though, let me state that I have been taught that because Satan does not know the day or hour any better than we do, he always has a potential Antichrist waiting in the wings. There have been several viable candidates throughout the ages. If not Obama, he will empower someone else. Time will tell.
Let me state that I am a member of Randy’s team…I am “overdone” for the rapture. But I still know quite a few people who haven’t accepted Christ. And I’m willing to wait for them, as God sees fit.
