Rene, I don't remember Jerry ever trying to build a large boat however I do know that he has been purchasing Turkish Wooden Gullah Sail ships because of the low cost associated with their purchase as opposed to European or American fiberglass Sail boats. He has repeatedly stated that he would like to purchase one of the larger Gullah's but just hasn't been able to either come up with the funds or find one that a buyer would part with. I think he has a total of 3 boats ready to go @ this time. Larry
