I was trying to figure out what is with all this zombie talk?  Seems it only used to be subject of horror movies or scoobie doo.
Then this thought came to me: When Jesus rose from the dead, dead people came up as well.  Would it then happen that zombies arise simultaneously with Apollyon coming up out of the abyss?  (spirit of apollyon resurrecting false christ)

Matthew 27:52
and the tombs were opened; and many bodies of the saints that had fallen asleep were raised;

It doesn't say in the Bible that I've found (about the dark side's people arising); only scorpion type soldiers coming out with him.
