It was 40 years ago that I woke up singing "I Surrender All". 

 

I had joined the church when I was 11 and several times since I felt the need to rededicate my

life to God but when I was 40 years old I realized I needed to invite the Holy Spirit inside me to

guide me.  So the next morning I woke up singing the above and stood up realizing that I was

singing.  I never, normally, jumped up out of bed from a sound sleep!!!!!, walked down the hall

to the kitchen to prepare a breakfast for my family of six. A cup of [real] coffee was required to

get me going.

 

Well, the next night the Lord prompted me that now all the promises in the Scripture belonged

to me.  I got up and remembered the song, "Standing on the Promises of God my Savior".

Now that got me to dancing.  Felt like David dancing before the Lord.  But, you have to stay in

the Scripture and keep reminding yourself of these promises all the way till Jesus comes again.

 

God has his divine methods of speaking to you and to me.
