Dear Patty RP, regarding the Apocrypha, you are right. 

 

"I would be very careful reading Apocrypha.  Yes, the Book of Jasher is 'mentioned' in the Bible, but you don't know if the version you have in your hand or seeing online is a true version.  Someone emailed it to me awhile ago, I read some of it, and it was in direct contradiction to the Holy Bible.  Apocrypha isn't Scripture and your Apocryphal version could very well be in error."

When I first read these books I was very skeptical.  They are very corrupt. But... I began my chronological study of Bible Scripture and attempted to correlate the Gregorian calendar with the Hebrew calendar, astronomical, James Ussher's, Roman Years and the Olympiads.  That was a long and arduous job. 

 

The Book of Enoch tells you how to calculate the year.  He did use the new moon but at the time the moon had only 28 phases: we now have 29.5-day phases.  But he also said if you use the moon calendar the feasts would fall on the wrong day. 

 

Moses instructed us on the Jubilee days.  By that time he had a full extra day.  So where did they begin the year?  All the temples faced the east. Right? When they didn't have a temple after 70 AD, what did they do? Well, Hellel II made up a calendar and a fixed date for the feast days so all the dispersed could celebrate at the same time.  But the spring equinox changes every 71 years.  That's what Dionysius the little was attempting to adjust [Passover/Easter] as it had slipped.  The sun now moves through Aquarius at the equinox.  Equinox is actually dawn to dusk [12 hrs+12 hrs=24 hrs] not sunup to sunset.

 

I just, today, noticed that Josephus and his time line is right on target if you use the AM years.  I was quite surprised. Everybody says his timelines are corrupted. Ummmmm

 

Of course, you must start with the year 7 AM that you get from the book of Jubilees.  It says that Adam was in the garden for EXACTLY seven year and he sinned.  Thus he was kicked out of God's spiritual kingdom into Satan's physical kingdom and under his dominion. 

 

Genesis says God will give mankind 120 [Jubilee] years.  That, my dear Patty, is 6007 years.  That is where we are today.  Believe it or not.

 

Tevet 7, 5773 + 234 = 6007 AM   Tan's number keeps cropping up.
