Curious scripture similarities
“…Now is come salvation…”
After reviewing Rev Ch 12 regarding constellation Virgo I noticed a similarity in wording from earlier in Revelation and elsewhere in scripture. Like or related things are meant to be highlighted in the same colors.
Rev 10
3 And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.
4 And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.
7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
The mystery of God was defined by Jesus when the apostles asked why He spoke in parables. He said it was so that those who believed in Him would understand, but others would not. The church and age of grace are the mystery of God. So, when the voice of the seventh angel sounds the church age and grace are finished.
11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.
This last verse of Ch 10 is either a “reset” to the beginning or the middle point of the book. Or, John will re-appear to prophesy as one of the two witnesses mentioned three verses later and described through Ch 11.
Rev 11
3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
Last verse of Ch 11
Rev 12
12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:
2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

Then, a later sign,
3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
A minor observation about verse 4. The word for tail implies that the stars “followed like a tail”, rather than the wording above which infers the tail moved the stars. It looks to me the wording implies the stars followed the dragon as if they were a tail. The third part of stars falling like a string or tail.
The dragon standing before the woman, displayed Nov 20-27 2012. Saturn stands before the woman and Venus in Virgo??
9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Now compare:
1 Cor 15
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1 Thes 4-5
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Ch 5
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
I’m not rushing to a conclusion here. Interesting though...
