"pictures of God?"

Whenever there are attempted pictures of the LORD, particularly where they attempt to paint/draw both the Father and the Son, they usually betray their semi-Arian theology. Whenever someone paints or draws the Father as an old man, while portraying the Son as a young man, they are implying that the Father is "older" than the Son, that he "came first", the problem with semi-Arianism. They then attempt to say that Proverbs 8 proves their theology, where they say that it shows a young Son of God "growing" up before the Father, in ages past, by making the connection that Proverbs 8 is speaking of wisdom, and that wisdom is code for the Son. However, these three lines:

Proverbs 8:23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.
 24 When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.
 25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:

would have implied that the Son had been "set up", or "brought forth", by the Father before the creation. This would imply that God had a baby God, a Jehovah Jr if you please, which would deny the true Deity of Christ, and it would leave a number of scriptures in question, for example:

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Cannot have an everlasting Father without an everlasting Son. Also, the Father couldn't have been the Father before there was the Son, and therefore wouldn't have been immutable, as the change from not Father, to Father, would have denied that doctrine.

By the way, wisdom in Proverbs is not talking about the Son of God, since the Son of God is not a "she", as wisdom is referred to:

Proverbs 8:1 ¶ Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?
 2 She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.
 3 She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors.

and:

Proverbs 9:1 ¶ Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars:
 2 She hath killed her beasts; she hath mingled her wine; she hath also furnished her table.

Also, to defend painting/drawing the Father as the one with the white hair, instead of the Son, they say is justified by Daniel 7, where they say that younger Son is brought to the older, white haired Father:

Daniel 7:9 ¶ I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.
 13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.

However, this is not the Son coming from heaven to the Father on earth, but is a vision, prophetically showing the two natures of Christ, that he is both fully man and fully God, in one person, Jesus Christ. To think that there would be a first coming of the Father to the earth, before there would be the second coming of the Son, would be a strange new teaching. The Ancient of days sits upon a throne on earth to judge the people:

Daniel 7:9 ¶ I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.
 10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.

First, the Father doesn't judge, the Son does:

John 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:

So the one sitting on the throne, who is doing the judging, must be the Son.  But how then can the Son come to the Son?

Daniel 7:13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.

Again, this is to show the two natures of Christ: the Son of man to show that he is fully man, the Son of David, born of a virgin. Yet, that he is the Almighty, the Son of God, the Ancient of days.

Micah 5:2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

The one born in Bethlehem is the Ancient of Days.

The white hair doesn't prove that he is the Father, but actually proves that he is the Son. Compare:

Daniel 7:9 ¶ I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.

with:

Revelation 1:12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;
 13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
 14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;

The Son is the one that is said to have the white hair.

This is why I have realized that painting the Father as an old man with white hair, while painting the Son as a young man, this coupled with the teaching that wisdom in Proverbs 8 is talking about the Son, both betray a semi-Arian belief, which I do not believe is supported by the scriptures.
